  1. Hello New Zealand… check Spotify? Should we get excited??
  2. After listening to Stagecoach performance I hear "Call us into forest dreams" ? Like... living in the woods?
  3. It sounds like LMLYLAW and the end reminds me of Black Bathing Suit. What a gorgeous song and tribute to her husband
  4. It feels like Lana’s returning to a really familiar place thematically but with softness, and a little bit of exhaustion. The whole image of the bluebird feels symbolic. She’s asking it to fly away for the both of them, and obviously that’s more than just about a bird. It’s about escape. It’s about freedom. But the heartbreaking part is that the bird can fly but she can’t. There’s a real sense of being trapped here. Maybe in a relationship, maybe in herself, but I honestly think it ties back to her lifelong tension with fame. Lana’s been writing about her relationship with fame for over a decade now. Gods & Monsters, and how she view LA as destructive. High By the Beach video where she literally takes down a helicopter with a rocket launcher. Or 13 Beaches, where she’s just trying to find one private moment away from the paparazzi. She’s always given us little glimpses into how fame disappoints her. Not just the industry, but the men, too. White Mustang, In My Feelings carries a thread of being let down by G-Eazy. In A&W, “Did you know that a singer could still be looking like a sidepiece at 33?” Even with Barrie on Best American Record feels like her watching someone destroy themselves chasing relevance (in the demo anyway). And now she's found her perfect man Jeffrey who she said "has no skin in the game". He's someone away from the life of fame. She’s seen what fame does to people up close. In For Free, she wonders if what she’s been given is even fair when others do what she loves for no money and I feel like she wants to be the person who does it "for free". Bluebird feels like the next step in that narrative. Not bitter, not rebellious, just resigned. There’s something about the way she asks the bird to “sing goodbye” that feels really layered. Like, is she projecting and wanting to saying goodbye to us? Like hinting again at wanting to step away from it all like in Swan Song or in her Variety speech where she said she’d be fine working a 9-5 office job? It makes me think about that poem in Violet where she accidentally steps on a bird. It’s such a tiny image but she’s using the bird as a metaphor for fragility, and I don’t think it’s about weakness, it’s about vulnerability. And that line “just shoot for the sun so I can finally run”. The lyric connects to Henry Come On where she sings about flying too close to the sun. It could be the the idea that ambition could burn you or "be careful what you wished for". It sounds like she doesn't want to be a star anymore and that she just wants peace. I don’t know. Bluebird doesn’t sound like a swan song exactly but it does sound like someone trying to make peace with the life she chose. It leaves me wondering: does she still want out? Or is she just trying to find a new way to exist within it, on her own terms. Whatever it is, it’s Lana doing what Lana does.. turning pain into poetry.
  5. The chorus starts off sounding like “Well my boyfriends in a band”
  6. https://lanadelrey.lnk.to/henrycomeon the way this link will have something on it one day.. but not today
  7. might be the sound tent or VIP section set up in the standing area blocking the view of the stage
  8. https://lanadelrey.lnk.to/trpwsuk This one says Untitled link https://lanadelrey.lnk.to/therightpersonwillstay Whereas this one says the album title
  9. How sure are we that it’s “baby if your love is in trouble” and not “baby if your love isn’t trouble”? Cus it sounds like she’s giving advice saying - if your love isn’t trouble (mischievous) then they’re not the one?
  10. I tried to get Cardiff tickets at 10:00 but when I was let out of the queue all standing were already sold out! I put some seated ones in my basket and they were £200 each! Surprising as my London front standing ones were £170. Ticketmaster being greedy.. fork found in kitchen I suppose. I didn’t get the Cardiff ones in the end
  11. This might be a dumb question. I got two presale codes since I signed up with all of my emails. Can I get 4 tickets for 1 show using a code, and then 4 tickets for another show with the other code? I'm buying for my friends and all 4 of us want to go to both Dublin and London
  12. How many times do we speculate that Lana’s been married or engaged before? In her music she always alludes to weddings, baby doll dress for her I do, “say yes” to heaven, ultraviolence video for some examples but there’s plenty more. There’s something about her getting married that’s just so….. expected. Do we think her actual wedding, if it’s her real first wedding, lived up to her expectations written about/fantasised about in her music? I wonder. I’m like not surprised one bit that it wasn’t glamorous, and I don’t give a fuck who she got married to. I’m happy if she’s happy and living her life the way she wants to.
  13. I hope her and Jack do something interesting besides just performing Hope together, like maybe debut a new song Bleachers is also playing at the festival
  14. Does anyone have a good vinyl rip of CC NRG? From the CC/b2b 7inch vinyl
  15. She’s gonna do the 1 hour show and somehow Bartender will still be on it
