not tryna dogpile or get on a high horse at all but i feel like its important to just think about it on a human empathy level too... regardless of "national identity" prior to ww2 in palestine, that was the land of those people. of course they would not want to give it up just because they were told to.
WHY should it be anyones to take?
is the implication there not that they are inherently less worthy of it than the jews for whatever reason? why? because the bible says so? because theyre arabs? because the european jews had just suffered the holocaust? does that justify the holocaust that the settler-colonial white-supremacist zionist israeli ethnostate is now inflicting upon what remains of the palestinian people? when does it stop just being about blatant geopolitical pontification?
