if you never let people be able to move on from their mistakes and be better people, it will be much harder for actual positive changes to take place in the world, and it's just incredibly unfair for people to not be able to move past their past actions, past actions which they likely feel very guilty and embarrassed about

there's a very "indie sleaze" bedroom DIY 2009 3OH!3 like a G6 vibe coming fom the new music so i'd honestly even be fine with more of the tumblr world-building, homemade music videos/artwork. It works for me!

As someone who is the same age as Slayyyyter I will tell you it was fucking amazing
never forget at my junior prom they started playing I Love It by Icona Pop and we all screamed and ran to the dance floor

I got a lot of shit when I said her last three albums sound too similar and I miss her “every album sounds very differently thematically” -era  (BTD-UV-HM-LFL etc) 

haven't heard the album yet (first listen tonight) but the discourse is sooo weird, women should be able to show their bodies? i don't find it "exploitative" at all. we're really shifting to conservatism aren't we

Being a few years older than Slayyyter I'll say I can't imagine being in middle school / high school when Kesha was in her peak all over the radio at all the school dances and you make music and end up being on one of her songs like that really is the dream moment and its a great fit for her as well.

No Doubt made a music video in 2012 for their song Looking Hot that got taken down due to backlash of cultural appropriation of Native Americans, yet the Ride mv came out the same year (obv the headdress was only shown for a few moments in comparison) never got the same backlash as ND (as far as I know of)
