  1. on the production board with the list of cut off names there was a song called '-r heavens', someone noticed in her recent thank you note she had a quote that inspired the record about 'unfamiliar heavens', it could just be a coincidence but either way there is nothing with the title '- heavens' on the cbs board!
  2. in her cbs interview they showed one of her whiteboards which showed the titles 'sugar' 'power mode' and 'inches + rulers' but no unfamiliar heavens, so maybe some of those titles are alternate names or this is a froot situation where she wrote more than 16 but only picked 16 to produce, if so I hope she goes back and records them for the deluxe
  3. I'm surprised she's not selling any ribbons on her merch store, or even a cuntissimo sash as she wants people to dress up for the tour, I was expecting the locket from inside the cd case too but I suppose that's more complicated to manufacture.
  4. I don't think this is really in disagreement with her other statements or actions though? what she wanted to do at the time of adiaml was to write about the current political climate and breakup with jack. what she wanted to do this time was write 'manifestation' music to make herself feel better, she didn't even know it was going to be a pop sounding album until she met CJ. if she wanted commercial success she wouldn't have had butterfly as the lead single, she even said this, it was just what she wanted to release as the song meant a lot to her. she also did about 3 interviews before the album dropped, no photoshoots (the plastik one was more for eat the world), and still hasn't really done a media/press tour, that isn't the action of someone who wants commercial success.
  5. genuine question, when has she said this in recent years? the last of froot was written in 2014 and since then she's said she writes differently since love + fear, which was about 'manifesting' happiness because she didn't have it. adiaml was about things going on at that moment in time for her, and this album is 'manifestation music' again, but with a more solid concept. she's also talked about writing more 'generally' instead of 'specifically' since l+f too. I think it's fine to miss marina's old lyricism, but I think people (not specifically you, I mean people in general) that keep expecting her to change the way she writes are just going to keep being disappointed, I don't think she wants to change the way she writes. the same way she doesn't want to be 'marina diamandis' even though we all agree that it would be better than 'marina' and bring it up every few weeks.
  6. well she was in an emotionally abusive relationship with Jack which caused her to doubt her decision making abilities and led to her co-writing so heavily on L+F, then the stress of that relationship and also black mould in her flat triggered chronic fatigue symptom, a major symptom of that is brain fog which hinders your ability to think and express yourself properly. so that’s why her writing quality dropped, but as she’s revealed things piece by piece I understand why people don’t know all this, she kept it secret for a long time because she felt embarrassed.
  7. I don't think final boss is about jack, but about her dad who has impacted the way she approaches love and relationships, hence him being the final boss to 'healing' her relationship with love (and it's right after adult girl which mentions his impact 'like a child I wait and hope you might repair the things you broke') 'guess I beat you at your own game' is like the family jewels 'did I beat you at your own game?' (granted it's a turn of phrase) 'you don't like anything you can't control, but now that means that you end up on your own' is very reminiscent of a lot of the tfj/eh tracks about her dad. 'are you in the mood to lose me again' implies this person has lost marina before 'I'm fucking sick of you bullying me' & 'I can't be your fall guy' I'm interpreting this to mean this person is blames marina for their actions, which pops up in bad kidz '[he said] everything I did for you means nothing, cause you turned out to be wicked' & 'I'm the criminal, you're the victim' I don't think the line of 'if I kill you, life will never be the same' is about jack, obviously I don't know her personally but I think she's over jack, however if she cuts her dad off that's a big life decision and something that also impacts her sister. also she dedicated the album to her mum, sister and grandmother, no mention of her dad.
  8. does it sound any different?
  9. I don't think just desserts not being on streaming is about charli but maybe a permissions/rights thing, it wasn't marina's song to start off with (it was ghostpoet's), then she fell out with dan dare mid 2014 so perhaps she doesn't want to talk to him to sort it out.
  10. the vinyl doesn't ship until july, I'm hoping INHA will available to stream then too, I have no idea why she didn't do it on the anniversary, unless she really does hate us and she's not adding it at all
  11. that's lauren glucksman, she's part of marina's team and it's been speculated about before ('cuntinis' I see you miss marina...) but she hasn't said anything about a relationship
  12. marina restocked the signed bundles on the uk/eu store https://uk.marinaofficialmerch.com/
  13. everybody knows I'm sad
  14. love + fear turns six today, whilst the album as a whole wasn't my favourite, I think it produced some really beautiful songs and outtakes. it's a shame she doubted herself through the process and wasn't well enough to execute it to her usual standard
