  2. is she still down at the crowd? this song is never ending i knowwww blake's fingers hurt LOL
  3. im on my period and i just nearly cried because it dawned on me that sweet little old man rob is just stood at the side of the stage streaming this with his phone held up and his hands and arms and wrists probably ache a bit because he's been streaming nonstop since the start of the show and i bet he has a little flip case on his phone and everything and its just so sweet he doesnt want to let anyone down by stopping filming and hes so cute and i bet hes wearing a cute little shirt and OH HE JUST COUGHED OH BLESS HIMMMMMM ohhhh no why am i about to cry omg i should call my dad
  4. when rob picks up on her whispering "tell barrie just to go home, we don't have time for UFB and riverside"
  5. so extremely niche and im certain absolutely nobody will know wtf im talking about but all i can hear whenever i hear summertime sadness now is "bark real loud before you go... XL bully banishment...." please are there any british people in here who understand that reference/have seen that video
  6. i actually am autistic and it just so happens that lana is my special interest so i think she should be catering the setlist to me specifically otherwise she is ableist (back me up on this guys i promise you'll thank me for it i'll get us all the bangers)
  7. the way she's never/very rarely performed art deco, sad girl, the greatest, florida kilos, thunder, dark but just a game, summer bummer, wild at heart, let the light in.... and yet somehow these 100 minute long interludes have a place in every show
  8. ah see i thought curfew would be 11 like normal but i read somewhere that it was 10:30 at this stadium, wasn't sure if it was a scotland thing! in that case she should be able to do her full (lol "full" ) show!
  9. someone in the live said "i hope the swing breaks so she has no choice but to change the setlist"
  10. it was sooooo perfect when it was near the end of the show (second to last song i think?) bc it felt like such a giant climax and it was fucking amazing, but here randomly in the middle of the show... it feels like a premature climax and honestly, i hate to say it, makes the rest of the show seem super boring by comparison
  11. curfew in 17 minutes.... there's still time for her to spontaneously do all of venice bitch guys dont worry!! edit: ok maybe i meant 27 minutes. so she can do venice bitch twice actually <3
  12. does she have a new drummer btw? why don't i remember seeing him at other shows?
  13. i wonder if the hologram is gonna have tonight's dress on tonight or if it'll be the same dress as yesterday?
  14. this is literally what the internet was made for
  15. agreed! bluebird in particular feels so layered, and i love the arrangement of the new songs she’s been performing live so im hoping that’s basically how they sound on the album! SFOA in particular my god
  16. the psychic energy in this thread….. now let’s pool it together and predict when the album is coming
  17. when barrie comes out to sing riverside and then jeremy gets mad because lana didnt give him any pre warning that she'd be singing on stage with her ex and so jeremy runs out and rugby tackles him to the ground and then they both engage in an insane wrestling match and then you hear "DO YOU SMELLLL..... WHAT THE ROCK...... IS COOKNG????" echoing throughout the stadium and dwayne johnson walks out and makes his return to wrestling by smashing a foldable chair over barrie's head and then when you look up at the big screens you see the WWE logo in the bottom right corner and the rest of the show is just a live wrestling match and lana quickly escapes into a helicopter and flies away oh wowwwww this is going to be insane
  18. i know we've all done our fair share of moaning about this tour but i hope (and i'm sure) everyone will have an amazing time tonight!! <3 have a drink, have a singalong, have a dance, have a cry! and revel in the fact that you're seeing lana in a goddamn stadium, who'd have thought!?
  19. such a good point! like the second i hear those opening notes to video games i start tearing up because like you said, it's been such a huge song in my life and it made me a fan. i can imagine that so many people hold songs like say yes to heaven or margaret or let the light in close to their heart, dare i say i imagine quite a few people attending might have even played these songs at their wedding, i know that say yes to heaven was super popular at weddings recently!
  20. SORRY for the long ass post i just have a lot of thoughts on this topic that i kind of want to wrap up here and share! i know i've gone on and on about this in the cardiff thread but like... honestly a 90 minute show wouldn't even be that much of an issue if those 90 minutes were packed w/ good stuff. of course 2 hours is ideal for a stadium show but 90 minutes would be fine if it weren't for the fact that those 90 minutes consisted of multiple interludes (w/ some of those interludes coming straight after one another?), 2 pre-recorded tracks where lana herself isn't even visible on stage and isn't singing, multiple songs that are yet to be released (yes a new/as-yet-unheard song can be a nice addition when there's an album due but when there's several and they're taking up space where a fan favourite should be, then it's an issue), unimaginative covers, plenty of idle time and songs that don't exactly make for the most exciting stadium concert experience... that's when that 90 minutes feels like a disservice. i completely understand and agree with the sentiment that most people who'll be attending haven't seen lana live before so it's still exciting to them - of course it will, and i love that for them! and i also agree that concerts aren't meant to be consumed via the internet and that it's totally different when you're actually there. i really do agree - if you're a diehard stan seeing lana live in the flesh (especially for the first time) it's gonna be exciting regardless. HOWEVER, as a diehard stan who was actually disappointed at the last lana gig she went to (leeds fest so a bit different) yet had a great time at other lana shows before it, i will say that it's still possible to be disappointed even though you're happy to be there and had a nice time overall. it's also important to note that not everyone in these giant audiences will be diehard stans like us; it's possible to be a genuine fan without being someone who feels electrified just by being there and seeing her in real life! those fans, though not diehards, still paid damn good money and so they deserve a show that makes the money worth it. the same goes for everyone in the audience (including diehards like us). summertime sadness, video games, young & beautiful, ride and born to die are mainstays that should be performed at every show. i think most people aren't doubting that. we need those more mainstream songs to keep the crowd alive - many of them will only know her from her bigger songs, and we want those people singing along and lifting the atmosphere up! unpopular opinion on lanaboards but hell, i'd even throw blue jeans in there too for this particular tour, it's a great song to sing along to and it's been a big one for lana since her debut so i think it fits her first proper stadium tour. but there are other, much less essential songs that suck the energy out of the show and that even lana seems tired of performing - i'm mostly thinking of NFR and arcadia, which is funny given that she didn't even perform those and just played a video/recording of them instead. with such an incredible back catalogue, it's understandable that fans feel like this setlist needs a real refresh. yes, some people have never heard NFR live before or arcadia live before or ultraviolence live before, but literally none of us have ever heard the greatest live before, or sad girl, or bel air, or thunder, or dark but just a game, or art deco, or summer bummer, or heroin, or grandfather pls stand, etc etc. hopefully that makes sense! anyway sorry for such an insanely long post but i just wanted to address some of the things people are bringing up when they're trying to shut down criticism of this tour. of course everyone is entitled to their opinion and i'm still really happy and excited for everybody that's going, and i'm sure if i hadn't sold my ticket i probably would have had a good time too! i love lana but i'm also just super passionate about live music and increasingly frustrated with how much everything seems to cost these days, concerts included, so i guess cost vs value has been playing on my mind a lot lol
  21. i keep seeing this advertised on my IG if this is any help?? https://www.fatsoma.com/e/frrgsidv/summertime-sadness-club-lana-del-rey-after-party-night-1-london
  22. i think what's frustrating is that it's unclear exactly who the setlist serves, if that makes sense? like... super casual fans (and/or accompanying non-fans) who mostly remember her from her btd-uv run wouldn't be pleased because of a lack of blue jeans, national anthem, west coast, etc the tiktok fans (i don't even mean that in a mean gatekeepy way, i guess i mean the tiktok generation / younger fans) won't be pleased because she didn't play any recent viral hits like let the light in or margaret or brooklyn baby or say yes to heaven stans/diehards/fans like us obviously aren't happy for obvious reasons people who became fans thru her most recent release won't be pleased because of not much OB on the setlist lana herself doesn't even seem particularly enthused by the setlist so who is the setlist for, yknow? you can never 100% please everyone (there'll always be some delusional diehard claiming that summertime sadness and video games have no place on the setlist - please be fr ) but there's also a way to keep a setlist balanced and lana doesn't seem to be attempting that, nor does she seem to be catering to any particular niche in the audience. it's just one of those things that makes the experience sting a little more
  23. oh 2013 burning desire you will always be famous.... the thought of lana actually performing an upbeat song with a rock-ish arrangement that pumps up the crowd while she serves vocals is almost surreal in 2025.........
  24. just thinking about what this tour could have been setlist-wise and i imagined this as a semi-realistic but still better effort: it looks like a lot of songs but actually a lot of them would be much shorter so the actual runtime wouldn't be that long and the strain on her voice wouldn't be bad... plus like yes it's longer than her usual setlist but also this is a ridiculously expensive stadium tour and there's no reason she shouldn't be doing at least 20 songs anyway lol this isn't even an ideal setlist either, just trying to imagine what a slightly better setlist might have looked like the show could start out giving us some glamour and stuff w/ the dancers and the upbeat songs etc etc but then after the interlude and outfit change the backdrop could strip away to the house staging and to what lana is leaning towards now so she'd still be serving her own preferences too as well as giving people what they wanted.... idk just thinking
