Here is a little story I want to share with you all 
Today I was on my way to the cigarette machine and then I saw beside the road a pigeon and one of its wings was hurt and bleeding and it couldn't fly I couldn't leave it behind so I asked a woman who just parked there for a bag or sth and she was so nice and gave me one and a piece of cupboard to stabilize the bag. Then I tried to catch the pigeon with my jacket and another woman came to help me. After that I carried the bird to my home and put it gently in a box with a few towels and a blanket and drove it to the nearest animal sanctuary (I called them first when I found the bird to ask what to do). It was a twenty minute drive and I kept talking to the bird in a calm voice and sang a bit of Bluebird to it. They said they can help the pigeon and I really hope that the pigeon will make it , can heal and fly freely again one day On my way back home I played Bluebird in the car and it hit different today  I know now how Lana must have felt holding the little bird in her hands, wanting to protect it and fly again. Bluebird is such a special , bittersweet, beyond beautiful song

i've got a complicated relationship with nfr album. i obviously love it but like...i feel like if the reception wasn't that overwhelming (like the "career-best" comments and "lana's peak" and "lana's redemption") then i wouldn't have this problem.
 
look, the thing what gets me is that the music critics and the general public consider nfr some kind of a revolutionary album of hers in any aspect, like production and lyrics but the thing is that...was her music really that different from nfr before? like she was singing about the same topics before and also did piano/guitar ballads in her albums before but they all got criticized by the critics and the general public for being too sad and monotonous and same-y. 
 
i don't think that lana's songwriting had a drastic change in nfr. it did start to change in lust for life in songs like get free, coachella, tomorrow never came where she's writing in this wordier contemplative style but still, it's not that much different from her older songs.
 
like she obviously deserved all the positive reception from the critics, she always deserves that, but the contrast if you compare the receptions of ultraviolence and nfr is huge. her other albums deserved the same amount of praise which nfr got.
 
nfr is amazing but it is not her best album. i also think that honeymoon is her best album. although in terms of lyrics, ocean blvd is definitely her best and it also peaked there in terms of songwriting because she talked about many topics she won't talk about anymore.

SACRILEGE. VB is literally, LITERALLY her best song ever, and legit her best lyrics. It's a whole film in under 10 minutes. What is wrong with you? L MAO.
 
Everything else you said is most odd, too. Cinnamon has mistakes? Balance of NFR was vapid? You don't care for California? HIAB a bad track? LMAO. Thanks for this good laugh, I needed it this morning.

And my another unpopular opinion is that it's cohesive. It is eclectic in sounds but it maintains the same patterns. It's probably because I can easily recognize Rick Nowels' production style and I can hear clearly all of his similar production patterns on the album whether it's on piano/synths or on guitar or his team's sound effects, beats/drums, strings and such. For example the use of piano/synthesizers White Mustang, Heroin, Change, Beautiful People Beautiful Problems, Summer Bummer; the use of guitars in When The World, God Bless America, Tomorrow Never Came; his team's sound effects (Love, Lust For Life, Get Free, Beautiful People), strings (13 Beaches, Groupie Love), and semi-electronic soft trap beats (Coachella, When The World, Cherry, 13 Beaches). 
 
Probably the reason I love the album so much is how creative it is. It was the perfect transitioning point from her old maximalistic cinematic sound with the beautiful strings, lush beats and cool sound effects to a more stripped back folkier route which started to define the current Lana we know now. 

While I love the final of TNBAR, it will always be a Lust For Life song. Moving it to Norman was sacrilege .

WHY I feel like LDR11 will be totally classic jazz and old paradise orchestral sounding? (id love to have another buddy rendezvous tho) after MG After Party I would love to see lana make a jazz album

Also, I don't want to believe anything indirect that Lana says, but I feel that after this tour, with the dates for the US, she will open a tour specifically for the album, yk? Maybe including US, LATAM and other countries or rather just make a world tour instead  I feel like she's more comfortable on stage and now feels like going on tour after the album...
