Tbh as much as I like Henry, it’s really my least favorite of the releases. It reeks of Lana overthinking her work and while I like Drew’s production, it loudly being slapped on top of her guitar demo is grating on the ears. Bluebird’s instrumental outsells vastly, but so far I still like the 3 stage coach songs more than the 2 released ones

I really think the problem stems from Jack’s big “you have to pave your own way” talk during the ocean era, and at the time of Lasso the mainstream wasn’t leaning country, and now the music scene is over saturated with country leaning songs so she might feel like she’s just going in the direction of the music industry, instead of going her own path but regardless she needs to drop these songs now I’m sick of having them stuck in my head and being 6 months away
