Apple is having a launch event on Sept 7, maybe Lana will perform a new song 

I’m curious as to what she has been reading recently, her current literary influences and how/if it affects her lyrical process. Automatic writing sounds as if it would draw from the well of the words you’re being exposed to at the moment. Would love if she were more vocal about this tbh, just a thought I had 

I'd do anything for another Lana × Dan Heath × Emile Haynie project. SMH I feel like she still hasn't utilized / experimented enough with them as much as she did with Jack & Rick. 

I kinda wonder where I’ll be when she decides to drop the inevitable album single in September. I pulled over at a queen of the gas station ~because priorities~ and listened to Miss BB in full when she l34k3d. Pretty sure I’ll be at my friend’s wedding when the new song drops and I wouldn’t put it past me to drunkenly leave the dance floor to listen sbsjsbsjf

Months before release: couldn’t care less for an album because I am still very much vibing to her latest release. If there is a song title dropped in an interview: cool, but I won’t be too excited, especially if it’s been revealed the days following her latest release. Bonus for caring even less: when a timeframe has been given by her that won’t come through. 
 
First real clue of an actual album / lead coming (could be a snippet, an interview or a reliable insider posting): losing my shit, can’t do anything else for that day, obsessively posting here, expecting news any second. 
 
days after that: realizing I should calm down and that my whole life shouldn’t revolve around her. 
 
Lead single dropped: strangely calm and happy. If the single is good: I want more two days after. If it’s VB level: I can wait for the album a bit longer. Posting on LB whenever a thought pops into my head. FOMO one of her posts. 

silent weeks following lead:realizing I should calm down and that my whole life shouldn’t revolve around her. 
 
preorder dropped with single: can’t take it anymore, speculating endlessly about the tracklist and what the album will sound like. Big FOMO that insiders spilled here. 
 
Ten days before release: FOMO the album will leak, that I won’t be able to listen to it and that I won’t be able to share my thoughts with LB (haha). 
 
First listen or release day: usually calm, album in repeat, thinking if the album is « in sync » with my own life. Happy, waiting for her official post or MV or whatever. 

Just a reminder, all 11 songs on Chemtrails have guitar.

I don't think the album is really coming that soon (I know about her digital only comment and I hope it's true but I don't see it happening sadly) but as long as she give us some content throughout and not silence I wouldn't mind a longer rollout from lead single to album (not more than 5-6 months of course).
 
I do think we're getting something in September tho and even if the album is coming sometime early next year with a couple of singles and MVs (AND an album trailer) I'd be satisfied enough for the wait .
I'd also really love if she slowly unveiled the tracklist through her insta (imagine each day a different selfie with a song name ) but we're probably getting that by messing up with her website code instead

I fell asleep listening to the snippet looping and I think it messed up with my brain 
I don't know if it was an actual dream or my half asleep self creating mental images but I saw the album trailer and it was just a W Magazine BTS video with the Rockefeller song (she was totally submerged and came out of the water which doesn't make sense at all cause her hair was not wet in any of the pictures ).
My mind was not powerful enough to hear anything else from the song probably cause I was actually hearing the same 10 seconds over and over again 

Okay I did my investigative duties on the snippet video and could not find out who any of those people are i literally was googling for hours however I think the man with the beanie behind the mixing desk is possibly Ken Oriole who is an engineer that has worked for artists like Jon batiste, Anderson paak, N.E.R.D. and Solange. I also found out the recording studio they're in is definitely shangri-la studios in LA owned by none other than Rick Rubin. Now someone else use this info to find out more

here’s a story:
 
back in may i went for a walk in the park in the woods, there’s this mini bridge & below it is a pond, during the summertime you’ll see lily-pads & lotus flowers just like this, well, i looked out from the bridge to look at the lily-pads & a bird started swarming around my head, i got really scared & i starting running too fast & i tripped & scraped my chin, hands, & especially my left knee… i still have a scar there lol, i’m guessing it’s because i continuously got it wet in the shower so it took a long time to heal lol!
 
i did my research & it seems like that particular type of bird is known for attacking peoples’ heads if they are too close to their nest! i guess their nest was near this bridge, to this day i’m still weary of looking at the pond in case a bird is watching…

I hope this isn’t inappropriate but always have anxiety before Lana releases music, like I’m not going to be alive for it? I’m not suicidal or anything. I can’t really explain it. Like I always hope it isn’t too long away so I get to hear it.  Maybe it’s depression speaking I dunno, health has been poor lately maybe that. So the whole things making me feel mixed emotions.
