help I'm at work and just got an email about our branch relocating and it's titled "we have moved!" nfnndf 

I think it might be a metaphor with a person in her life representing her umbrella, shielding her from her 'rain'.
Something like:
Rockefeller, my umbrella,
God I love you baby.
Storyteller, stormy weather,
Till you came and saved me.

I caved and listened properly JSEBFJSF I really do have a teaspoon’s worth of patience - she sounds ethereal and I love the 'rocker guy' theme she’s always had ALSO I HEAR GUITAR. Right, right?!? That’s def a guitar twsjgnsjdng. The vibe reminds me of NFR though I can't really put my finger on it, or maybe not NFR but something along that vein with the sound. Maybe Honeymoon? Can you see my mind breaking  I'm streaming both and it's not helping 
 
Honestly… I’m really really glad she’s still even releasing musique  I remember when she was going to quit waaay back after BTD but here we are, a decade+ later and she's already teasing Violet too  I've never been into any artist for this long sjezhsje, forever my fave, all the way since my teens. I reeally hope she tours this time! I'd love to see her perform these kinds of intimate moods IRL. She seems a lot happier too.

I love that! But also wouldn't mind late fall vibes, like grey, rainy and foggy New York. She would pull off that sound and theme so well with cozy but also thoughtful calm songs like Fordham Road, Chelsea Hotel No.2 or Buddy's Rendezvous. Jazz always fits NY. A black and white theme would be perfect for that.
Anyway, that's not going to happen but let me dream for a while...

My general hot take is that while I love Lana to death and am personally super excited, I will always fiercely support everyone’s right to freely express their like OR dislike for any piece of music - a subjective art form. Like listen, you wet piece of lettuce, it’s one thing to clap back on anything and everything, but to tell those with opinions that differ from yours to keep those thoughts to themselves or leave the site? And what's this about them being called fake fans now? Hoes, pleak. Echo chamber this a$$.
