Chemtrails is Lana's worst album, but Solar Power doesn't have standout tracks such as White Dress or COCC. They are much better than anything on here. Critics agree.

Lorde created a parody album and it's not worth the 4 years wait.

COTCC stands out because of Lana's vocals and her melodies with like the first 6 songs being absolutely no skips imo. Whereas with Solar Power it's really miss or hit and sadly she isn't on pair with COTCC, because the tracks blend in too much. Couldn't she tell Jack to use more variation in instrumentation? Halfway through it gets kinda boring in regards to the production. It's very shallow in general, like idk I don't believe her with whatever she's singing about. 4 years and this is what she came up with? Diasspointed tbh, but that's on me.
All in all I love Mood Ring, The Fallen Fruit (that guitar solo and bridge (yumm??)), California's chorus and maybe some other songs will grow on me COTCC clicked immediately tho

    Wait it’s actually bad cjskapspowdj

i am listening in disbelief. Why did eclipse call this psychedelic music for stoners, because she crammed as many ham handed marijuana references into it as she possibly could? Lyrically it’s giving rich girl rebelling and branding her entire personality around a 3 minute Woodstock video she saw on YouTube.

Glad critics are lashing so far. I am so disappointed  the path is the only song I’d ever listen to more than like 3 times

Not saying the album will be bad, just some fans will love it, and some hate it.

I imagine Lana following a Kate Bush career trajectory and... I'm okay with that.

Kate released many albums in the '80s, including Hounds Of Love, a very impactful record. Then she released The Red Shoes in 1993 and it was received not that great and after that, Kate stopped doing shows and making music for 12 years. She made a comeback in 2005, then another in 2011, and played her last concert in 2014. I think Lana will do the same thing.

Lana made a lot of albums in the '10s, Born To Die is very impactful and NFR! is very acclaimed, she established herself as an icon at this point. I think Blue Banisters will be her The Red Shoes, aka her last album for years, and the album that will make her fanbase divisive. She will live a normal life after, maybe have a kid, and only after a long period, she will return with another great record. No shows/tours either.
