Idk I think Chemtrails serves a purpose
    However...
Blue Banisters should've just been like the "Arcadia" EP or something
The three singles, Arcadia, Bathing Suit and Carolina
The other songs If she wanted to put out she could've done like a cute little 6 song ultraviolence anniversary thing with nectar of the gods, cherry blossom, living legend, if you lie down with me, say yes to heaven and fine china

Oh when will leftists realize that they’re doing more harm than good by voting third party, Trump, or not at all to prove a point. Horseshoe theory is real and im afraid so many of you are far gone.

So many of you guys became single issue voters and because of that now so many people are left without medical care, student financial assistance, and national disaster relief. But Kamala wasn’t doing exactly what we wanted in Palestine so it was all worth it right?

So glad you feel you’re doing something by harassing people and celebrities on the internet though! I’m sure it’s helped so much.

Happy birthday to this beautiful, underrated album  Loved the visuals (pretending the standard cover doesn't exist),  Neil Krug was in his bag this era. White Dress, Chemtrails, Tulsa Jesus Freak is a godly 3 track run + Yosemite is one of my favorite songs of all time. I think the album was definitely a product of its time and it's clear that Lana wasn't exactly sure where she wanted to take it. I wish she would've leaned in harder to the sound of Dark But Just A Game, TJF, and the WD & COTCC outro's but I still love the album regardless. I'm gonna go ahead and say it, Top 3 album overall for me.

Kinda can't believe it's been 4 years since this album was released. It's strange to think about. I was still in college, going into my first internship that summer, feeling like I could relate to White Dress on a deeper level because I had left my serving job not long before  Changed my profile pic and profile in honor of Chemtrails

"I have good intentions even if I'm one of the last ones"
This is literally proof that 111 is Lana
I mean I always thought Lana would be a Pearl Krabs girlie and not a squidward girlie but hey... Lana is always full of surprises

Lana Del Rey is a registered Democrat in New York, her voter records was leaked in 2013. She's also a huge Obama supporter, having tweeted "Obama dropped the G Bomb in his address. God God God. Love you Obama. Love you God." in 2010. During Lust For Life era, she commented that under Trump, "women feel 'less safe'… It's made it uncomfortable to feel romantic about America," and revealed she stopped using the American flag visuals on stage since "it didn't feel weird in 2013," but did under the Trump presidency. She blocked an account on Twitter for editing a "Make America Great Again" cap on a picture of her. She wrote several songs on Lust For Life criticising the political climate of the Trump presidency. Lana Del Rey talked about "God Bless America" in an interview with Flaunt Magazine, revealing that the song was inspired by discussions about the current state of women's rights, specifically how she and her female friends were worried about a lack of political leaders who represent them. On the song "When The World..." she sings "We just want the truth told by the fake news" taking a jab at Dolan and asking if it's the end of America because of him. She confessed to Pitchfork that she "really does believe that words are one of the last forms of magic… I did in fact cast a hex on Trump". She sharply criticized Kanye West's support for Trump, writing: "Trump becoming our president was a loss for the country but your support of him is a loss for the culture. If you think it's alright to support someone who believes it's OK to grab a woman by the p**** just because he's famous—then you need an intervention as much as he does-something so many narcissists will never get because there just isn't enough help for the issue"

After shootings in El Paso and Dayton, she wrote and released "Looking for America", intended proceeds to aid victims. "Someone who says 'grab 'em by the p****,' that does make someone else feel a little bit more entitled to bring his rifle to school. If there wasn't a time for protest music, there absolutely is now." Responding to accusations by a fan that she voted for Trump, she replied: "Go. F---. Yourself."

Although many know about Lana wearing a Native American headdress on her Ride music video, not many know that she donated $350,000 from the advance of her book "Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass" to the DigDeep Water project, which provides clean water to vulnerable communities in the Native American Navajo Nation. She has also stated that she intends to donate a portion of the proceeds from her spoken-word album to Native American organizations focused on preserving rights and land. This donation is part of her broader commitment to what she calls "personal reparations" to those who have shaped the land.

She described Trump as a "reflection of our world's greatest problem… sociopathy and narcissism," saying: "The madness of Trump… as bad as it was, it really needed to happen… It's not capitalism, it's narcissism… I think he's unwell… he may not know he's inciting a riot… he's got delusions of grandeur." She warned media for taking quotes "out of context," reaffirming her stance was coming from a liberal viewpoint. In the same interview she clarified she and her friends "voted for Biden".

"It's f***** up," she added on the platform in response to a post from Complex. "You know I'm real. You know I voted for Biden. I'm super steady in everything I've ever said. You probably listened to my entire interview. So whoever wrote this is a genuine piece of s***. I am the one helping bringing the problem with narcissism to light." Taking to Instagram, Del Rey shared a since-deleted four-minute video in which she further explained her stance on Trump, as she expressed a desire not to be "painted as some kind of white Republican." Over the years, Lana has attended many protests and pride events. She was at the Black Lives Matter protests as well as LGBTQ+ events.

She has acknowledged and supported the LGBTQ+ community in many instances over the years, talking about her close connection with her gay fans and performing at events raising money for the community.

Although Lana's politics are far from perfect and she has at times said things that were not the most educated on sensitive topics, she always had good intentions, a clean heart and a pure soul. Thank you!

Maybe Blue Banisters should’ve just been an EP, or just a continuation to chemtrails (Just like Paradise to BTD)

I can see both sides but I will say, in a sense I’m glad she’s doubling down on the “adult” imagery because way too many parents were coming at her during the Short n’ Sweet era because she was too sexual or promiscuous. It’s not her job as an artist to parent your child! If you don’t want your kids seeing that, then you should do more to keep it away from them

Mind you the girl was 25 it’s not like her target demo is kids

It’s not that I believed that Kamala Harris would’ve saved us all and been the idealistic candidate- not at all. Neither her or Biden. But the reality is that who our option was. I’m of the opinion that choosing the least destructive option is better for all of us than being fine with the other party burning it all to the ground to prove a point. One candidate supported a two state solution and the other candidate was posting a mockup of resorts on the Gaza Strip, remember that.

I don’t think Kamala would’ve done much to extend medical care, student aid, or disaster relief, but I don’t think 6 months into her presidency she would’ve made these drastic cuts that the Trump administration already did. I don’t think Kamala would’ve expanded ICE as much as Trump has. That’s the thing, I know Kamala promised to be tougher on the border, but I don’t think she would’ve been nearly as inhumane as Trump has been. I don’t think Kamala would’ve been encouraging and feeding into the anti-immigrant and anti-Latino sentiments that are growing and have been growing since 2016.

Going into 2028 if the far left wants to make any impactful change, they need to start now.  That doesn’t mean just sitting online and on Twitch streams living in echo chambers not having a clue what Americans are thinking/wanting. I know the Democratic Party is messed up, as many other Dems know but change is incremental and many of us want change and we want to get the old people out of office.

If it’s not about having Beyonce, Megan Thee Stallion, or Cardi B at your rally’s, why is there these big harassment campaigns for celebrities to speak out against certain issues? I personally couldn’t care less about any of these celebrities making appears because I know where my heart is and I know what I stand for. I don’t look for celebrities to tell me what to support, or to validate my beliefs. If I knew the artists I liked didn’t align with my stances I wouldn’t be supporting them, and in this case Lana has made it clear where she stands in the past.

Honestly she can even keep the holograms if she just adds more songs to the setlist, fan favorite songs at least

my final piece on this matter because truthfully idgaf but you pleassseeee need to look at this seriously

you cannot book and hold a STADIUM without major contracts in place. there are serious financial consequences and you cannot just dip out of it because the artist feels uncomfortable. no tour was ever planned for this year and any insinuation that it was 'cancelled' because of lana or her management being unhappy is point blank false and just disrespectful to lana herself. she stunned during the uk tour and should be very proud of herself. a great deal of the critic consensus is positive, which is probably relayed back to her

first it was 'stadium tour announcement next week!' then it was 'with the album!' then it was 'postponed!' now it’s 'downgrade to arenas and announement next year!' like come on now...

    stop getting scammed, xoxo kisses

I think it was just a question of the impersonal Lasso conception to the much more personal The Right Man Will Stay, which she's retitling again. In the middle of this project, she fell and love and married, and that altered a lot.

Who knows--maybe it was even Jeremy who said the words, "The right man will stay," and that's where the clumsy (old) album title came from.
