Yeah I get that her describing of genres are very loose, but the album to me is shaping up to be very solidly country- especially given her cover choices 
 
southern gothic you’d think would have some dark undertones.. but I’m yet to hear any.. Chemtrails is more southern gothic than whatever this record is shaping up to be 

Actual footage of me thinking this album will be released and it remains a perpetual possibility in the world of speculation

i have low expectations for this album. these 3 songs sound like anyone could've made them and lorde’s energy for this release is just off-putting to me. like SO much passion n “weird-girl” energy/visuals for such basic songs.

Just know I'm going to sob over this song - what a perfect way to introduce it to the world too on that set

For the sake of such a song, it's not a shame to re-record the entire album and reschedule it so many times, bravo

The cover is both ugly and nice lol. Anyways, it's not as horrendous as the covers for DP and HF so... lol. I hope she does not change her stage name. Addison Rae just sounds better.

I can't believe it's been more than 2 years this shit's in different areas

i dont know how to explain this but every time she puts out a new project, it sounds like her old self but with a new layer of reinvention.... it sounds like Chemtrails' folkish beginning, with the Paradise strings instrumental, the explosive and lush Born To Die (Summertime Sadness) pause to chorus, and the spoken words vibes from Blue Banisters (Text Book) and Tunnel (the Grants/Ocean Blvd) vocal takes as the outro  the way i thought it would have been a snoozefest and she provide me wrong again 

I was legit expecting 

For the entire duration of the song and could see why people would complain but this
