Such a beautiful interpretation and spot on, I think.
I was not hyped at all because I'm tired of piano ballads but this one really got to me because of the message. I love the idea of her being ready to move past LA superficiality to explore new territory. I love her growth into this woman who wants to take care of others instead of being the immature one. It's simple but very moving and reflective of where I am in my life too. Eventually you get tired of all the navel gazing and want something more and you realize your relationships are the most important gifts you have.

I hope we get another song like NFR's title track cause to this day I still listen to it and think WHAT WAS THAT. WHERE DID THAT COME FROM. the gorgeous (but horribly mixed) strings, the punch of the opening line, the gorgeous melody, the vocal layering, the YOUUUUUUUUUU, and the YOU MAKE ME BLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUE at the end like wow  she really put her whole pussy into it and we need more. 

Which is a good sign. Manifesting a different producer for LDR8. 

Does anyone else hear LMLYLAW as an almost entirely platonic love song? I think especially with her friends in the music video like that, the "let me love you like a woman" line almost comes off in a sort of mother-ing tone ("let me hold you like a baby" certainly strengthens that vibe) which I actually think is really sweet. She's talked about similar things in interviews and her Mother's Day post too.
 
I really would like this to be the case too actually; I think it gives much stronger meaning to "let me love you like a woman" as opposed to if it were about romantic love— it's like her circle of close female friends sort of mother each other, and allow themselves to be caring & vulnerable when they're together.

Folks on Twitter love being “ironic” but fail to ever really be funny about it anymore. (Except legend gayjailer of course) It’s just a cesspool where people collectively bully others nowadays. Save yourself a myriad of time and DELETE that shit! 

Hell yeah! She really does have that power. She's so timeless, never really on the mainstream's train but every time she waves hello, that train stops and stares. I really hope this success pushes her to speed up the release as much as possible within her control.

I really hope jack surprises us but after hearing lmlylaw’s production that seems doubtful. hopefully this album includes more instruments, I feel like that could save it. 
also I think it’s very valid to blame jack for the unappealing production. I know lana is calling the shots but there is such an obvious difference between a recent song produced by jack and a recent song produced by someone else (california in nfr) 
she has so much spark still evident in her and although nfr was a great album I don’t think jack and lana together is progressive enough to where they can create something totally new BUT I will wait until the album comes out to see and shut up for now 

y'know what would REALLY serve? a song with elements of aka  i'd kill for another sexy bop like smarty or something like kill kill. with this era i feel like she could pull off something like that and make it more mature, in a way. surfy guitars (just like on lmlylaw), drums, bass and lizzy-esque lyrics i feel like@LemonadeHeavens would agree with me lol <3

I'm not really feeling that new song... (I know it's just snippets from a live performance but I hope it's not acoustic on the album). I'm scared about collabs because the ones on LFL are like the only Lana songs I don't listen to unless I'm playing the album in full.

Fantano just listened to Let Me Love You Like a Woman on twitch and turned it off before it was done or even got to the bridge. I used to kind of like him but he's been annoying me lately. I would rather a music reviewer actually finish a song before giving their thoughts. He said the song was "underwhelming" but the lyrics didn't make him cringe or anything. It seems like he goes into Lana's music expecting to cringe rather than being completely free of bias. It's also funny how he only started praising her once NFR became critically acclaimed. Then the whole QFTC thing happened and he started making fun of her again.
It's his opinion though so whatever. I just wanted to share that.

i understand your frustration, don't get me wrong - i do love nfr and it's definitely a great body of work, but i feel like the production is a bit flat / watered down, and this is especially true for lmlylaw in my opinion, i think i would of liked the song more if the production was better, everything about that song sounded like it was soaked and basically drowned in reverb, nothing about it was crisp. i do love some nice reverb but the song seemed to be too soft and watered down. i don't hate jack at all, but i can understand why somebody isn't a fan of his production style for lana.
