    The issue that I have with Country Raods is that it's just so ... half-arsed as a cover.
     
    It does not have the usual Lana-magicshe brings to a track (e.h. compared to The Other Woman, Blue Velvet or Once Upon A Dream.)
    The weird mixture of the downbeat style she chose vs. the melody she kept for the chorus ... It sounds like a generic track from a "folk covers" playlist or some AI generated mashup. Also, the song itself is soooooooo overplayed.
