Grenadine quarantine

For the next tour I hope she comes back with something fresh and inspired, a full new setlist of 20 songs. No silly shortened versions. A hologram is fine if you’re doing 20 songs. Create a new mix for born to die because I’m not a fan of the amount of playback it has and that silly tempo. Something I miss since 2018 is how every show was different with all her ad libs and really hearing her voice. It used to be exciting how she switched up like every night but now I don’t get that with any song. It sounded identical almost every night. I prefer when she used her vocal stems/ harmonies as playback instead of the main studio vocal which overpowers her live vocal. 
 
The stage was her best yet - so beautiful. There’s so much potential just wasted but it was still good just not as good as it should be and I think she knows that and needs some help with the setlist instead of just putting it down to her vision. She basically only sings singles and title tracks which is very lazy and sad.

Now we are waiting for Blue Banisters (title track), TJF, White Dress 

Mb a short movie about the tour, hopefully we'll get more info about it. I also think Lana will post smth today since it was last show of her UK tour yesterday so we'll see

I hated this tour but thank fucking god my show was Wembley 2nd night and If You Lie Down With Me (!!!), Diet Pepsi and Venice Bitch saved the setlist for me 😭

"I got guns in the summertime. And horses, too" would make such a great singalong moment live  actually a lot of blue banisters songs would translate well live, but specially thunder. that song was made to be played live

if we’re doing final thoughts, i think it’s been a beautiful tour and definitely good to promote and build some excitement about her upcoming music. but i am disappointed by the setlist, i think it’s strange and i’ve been left quite confused that it was longer / more diverse when i saw her at hyde park than her own stadium tour! 
will never stop talking about how disheartening it is she didn’t perform YNWA, a song that means so much to so many people - and with a cover released by their fav artist, a performance would’ve been such a precious moment for the fans.
for her to honour the 4th july in wembley but not YNWA in the iconic anfield stadium is pretty ugh. 
 
i do think overall, it was slightly a missed opportunity for more things, but i don’t want to sound negative

Her singing no Lust For Life era songs on this tour feels like a kick in the groin  At least she sang Honeymoon era song which was Salvatore but even that one was acapella...
