I agree w the mixing comments and I don’t like either songs that much too
but I think this is a great example of why how an artist describes their music before it comes out as important, she said it’ll be less revealing and american song book adjacent and that’s what I went in hearing it with
yeah I didn’t like it but I wasn’t expecting anything bigger than the way she described it

I agree but it's the pure kitchy amateur whatever she's going for you can tell it comes from her soul
