Lana will be awarded the NMPA Songwriter Icon Award on June 12th!

I think Lana's team saw how much attention he was giving Lana fans and they had to cut him loose, he would have spilled even more by accident

This is honestly so weird and such unprofessional behavior I’m sorry. 
 
Since when does assisting with a single show mean that you are now in a lifetime contract to work with that artist for every show they do going forward. And I don’t get what he thinks whining on instagram will do other than make people/Lana not want to work with him in the future

the song choice is something...

When Doin Time came out, we initially thought it was just for the Sublime documentary -  it was then tacked onto NFR and kind of became the album’s most commercial song.
 
I’m wondering if that’s the case here. Lasso was done, and then by happenstance, she linked up with Quavo and they made the song. So, like Doin Time, perhaps the song just kind of came out of nowhere and she felt it could go on the album. 

If everything goes well, my job will allow me to have backstage access during Primavera Sound here in Porrugal. I will 100% talk with her about Lasso.

She was asked if lasso still is planned to come out this year and she said yes !!
