I also thought about potential collabs we could get on this album
Definitely Kacey Musgraves for sure
Jelly Roll maybe? She sang with him twice already
Nikki Lane and maybe Dolly? Since Lana met her in Nashville I think it was in 2023 so could be possible. Let me know your thoughts! This album is very country based so I don't think we'll get any "pop" artists on it like Nessa, Taylor, etc.
Maybe George Birge too? Who knows with Lana. You never know
But it sets the tone for the album and the sound it's not necessarily about the title lol

And also I believe that this could mean that we are getting news about the album soon or this could be the third single

Sometimes I think there’s no way some random fan could find something like that, but then I remember that we found the Chemtrails cover on her website, and we all called it a cute behind the scenes photo.
that said, I don’t believe that tweet. Usually things like that break here first

If this is the title I am here for it!
I mean we already heard it live at Stagecoach and it really does set the tone for what the album is supposed to sound like, along with Henry

if quiet in the south is the actual album title, i really like it. however the abbreviation QITS kinda sounds like a slur

I kind of believe this is real due to the badly-designed and inconsistent typeface

r/lanitas and every other snark subreddit/space, not just Lana related, on the internet are filled with the most mentally ill people on the whole planet. I could not imagine spending so much time and energy on a person I don’t like

Snark subs are soooo weird… on Taylor and Ariana’s they say this exact same shit, it’s like they’re all automated

it’s so grossly ironic how they’re constantly bashing her for being married to a republican or being “apolitical” while simultaneously saying the most misogynistic shit about her

Well then why did she say (in a 2011 interview) that she doesn't want to put KOL on the album because in her mind that song is just a "fluff"
So one person is lying here
Either Lana or that lipster from 2011

Kinda Outta Luck produced like a boppier version of Blue Jeans would eat maybe with some diet Mountain Dew influence.

Does she really look that different? I’ve seen so many say so but I haven't noticed..

I’m chuckling so satisfyingly right now cus if they’re quoting Lanaboards as insiders well then we gotta talk about how the album’s actually inspired by a goose and that it’ll only be released the next full moon, but only if you touch a crocodile’s nose with the goose’s feathers. Then. And only then, will the crocodile bring you to a secret location with a random copy of violets bent backwards over the grass. With a location map to a usb. And the usb will lead you then to the Henry Come On music video
but it’s supposed to be a secret so don’t tell anyone.

100%%%!!!!
still not over the fact that she played 5 (five) brand-new songs at Stagecoach. I legit thought that she'll do Bartender and 90% of her Coachella set.
also, she was so relaxed and confident. She came across nervous af at Coachella and you could hear a pin drop for most of the show. I feel like there were way too many slow and quiet songs for a festival of that size and it just didn't make sense. Like, bartender and candy necklace at coachella - really?
Her stagecoach set was an another level. Except for Arcadia, of course. A song that no one cares for on planet Earth but she keeps sticking in every set for some reason.

Lust For Life is one of her best albums.
And my another unpopular opinion is that it's cohesive. It is eclectic in sounds but it maintains the same patterns. It's probably because I can easily recognize Rick Nowels' production style and I can hear clearly all of his similar production patterns on the album whether it's on piano/synths or on guitar or his team's sound effects, beats/drums, strings and such. For example the use of piano/synthesizers White Mustang, Heroin, Change, Beautiful People Beautiful Problems, Summer Bummer; the use of guitars in When The World, God Bless America, Tomorrow Never Came; his team's sound effects (Love, Lust For Life, Get Free, Beautiful People), strings (13 Beaches, Groupie Love), and semi-electronic soft trap beats (Coachella, When The World, Cherry, 13 Beaches).
Probably the reason I love the album so much is how creative it is. It was the perfect transitioning point from her old maximalistic cinematic sound with the beautiful strings, lush beats and cool sound effects to a more stripped back folkier route which started to define the current Lana we know now.

The only thing I wish lana did was a more clear mix / master.
But ⏰️

Same that's been my only little issue with her recent music since that album but seems like it's not an issue with LDR10 songs so far

While I love the final of TNBAR, it will always be a Lust For Life song. Moving it to Norman was sacrilege .

My Unpopular NFR! thoughts:
Stars Fell Over Alabama, is, for me, a return to the Lana I love after the bland 1970s-style sentimentality of tracks like Love Song, How to Disappear, and LMLYLAW. We can get these kind of middle-of-the-road songs from any number of other artists.
For different reasons, the less said about HIAB and the pointlessly reworked TNBAR the better. The title track is nothing special.
I like Venice Bitch, but let's face it--it's just a little smidgen of a lyric that JA added a long instrumental to. It's 9% Lana and 91% JA.
If I had to vote for More JA on Lana's present and future records or Less, I'd definitely vote Less, which was proven to me by his absence on BB, with beautifully-recorded vocals on IYLDWM and VFR, and then the return to JA-murk on some of the OB tracks, especially LTLI, the same quality that ruined Cinnamon for me.
I like the challenging aspects of Lana's music to be spread among all the songs on the given album, as it was for the most part on Paradise and LFL (which certainly had some weak/bad tracks).
On NFR!, MAC, VB, Hope, and The Greatest were challenging, but the balance of the record was vapid.
I don't care for California because I feel it's a retread, something that came too easily for her at that point in her career--for stans, it's usually obvious when an artist begins repeating themselves--as Lana has with TJF and Fishtail.
For me, Sweet and the OB title song are other tracks that seem to have come too easily for her.
