Ooh, with Million Dollar Man I always associate with Honeymoon, both are also jazzy and the man she talks about have the same vibe

These are good observations! For me, Carmen and Candy Necklace are sister songs to me. They both feel like a story from the same point of view or it is the same bleak vibe they share in sound.

There is a one actually! But agreed with all of your proposals!

For me, this is the most beautiful photo ever taken of Lana. She looks so ethereal there. Like a heavenly magic dream

I think the album will be out in March. She likes to release around mid-to-late March, so I guess March 20th or March 27th it is. Leaning more towards March 20th because it's closer to Jeremy's birthday, and COTCC and Ocean Blvd were released close to that date as well. It's clearly an important time of the month for her. If the album is announced to release on a date that IS NOT a Friday, I'm not moving. When the pre-order is released then I will move.

I Never Learn is one of the best songs in the world. This has been on my mind a lot lately and been listening to it as well.

I love that you're the number one enthusiast for this music video!

She looks so cute, our pookie! All the candids we've got in December are all from November. Even candids photos are coming after a delay -
How would you imagine music videos for Lana songs that don't have one
Embach replied to Melotrauma's topic in Lana Thoughts
This was so fucking brilliant, I don't care if it's corny, it suits the song so well because I have always imagined it as Lana sitting in the car in the evening too, partially inspired by the beat drop snippet she shared in 2018. And not gonna lie when I read that part, at first I fastly read "and they drove off the cliff" and I was almost getting emotional because it's so sad and bittersweet and the rainbow compliments the strings outro so well! This was so brilliant as well, so many amazing details were put into thought, I loved it! -
A perfect work of art!

Born To Die feels often overlooked as a title track. I don't know, I once watched everyone's rankings of title tracks here and I was really sad to see Born To Die at the bottom part of the lists while I feel like it's the most perfect title track she has ever had. While my favorite title track is Honeymoon, I think that Born To Die is her best title track. Those opening strings are like a whole bam, they set the mood for the entire album and encapsulates the album's theme brilliantly. The melodramatic production with melancholic undertones and the iconic line which is literally like from an Ancient Rome-esque texts "Cause you and I, we were born to die". It introduces you into the Lanaverse perfectly.

How would you imagine music videos for Lana songs that don't have one
Embach replied to Melotrauma's topic in Lana Thoughts
Years ago, there was a fanmade lyrics video for Art Deco and it was very reminiscent of Carmen, like lots of vintage clips of city lights and a strip bar and roses - so if there ever was a music video for Art Deco, it would've been in the vein of Carmen's music video. I have always imaged Terrence Loves You music video as Lana from the cover art travelling in that bus around Bel Air, like that short clip in the Honeymoon sampler. But since I was talking about Carmen earlier - during LA To The Moon Tour, when she was singing Terrence Loves You, the backdrop visuals were from Carmen music video, so a music video for Terrence Loves You being reminiscent of Carmen would've been also perfect.- 16 replies

This thread is a definition of an ant mill. Ants are spiraling in an exhaustive circle that leads them to death for nothing. This thread has been literally railed to death, it's like a beating the same horse over and over again. Sometimes when I read the thread, like of course, there are some statements I agree with and I knowww that it's exhausting to wait for the album but like this one post I made in September expresses that - and now in December, I'm like actually still genuinely surprised that this thread gains like 2-3 pages per day or sometimes even more, like when we have no information at all, it's all just circling the same topics again and again which lead to nothing. I know that some people might be like "why the hell do you read this thread, you're not obligated to", I know I am not obligated but I'm always kind of "semi-anxious" for new information which can be exclusively seen here which might be shared by our known reliable insiders here or on ATRL or maybe there's a new reaction from Shazam or Discord or some song registration websites because at this point, anything like this is possible, but no, to my disappointment I always come to this same spammy conversations about how tired we are or announcement complaints or what if she scrapped song x or y or speculations of her family life that circled in this thread and beaten to death like 10 times already. I know this is a forum, everyone can talk about what they want to but these are my current thoughts about this situation. Sorry, if I sounded too complainy.

When I was driving this morning, my local pop radio started playing Opalite and a car with a licence plate with letters MER was driving in front of me - if this isn't the sign of Opalite being the next single then I don't know what else could be...

Say Yes To Heaven vs Yes To Heaven (James Ford's Version)

These are from way before. I think these were 'released' when the singles dropped but Discogs listed that this and the Henry, Come On one were last sold in August for 50 euros. I just discovered them recently when I was surfing on Discogs. To be honest when I saw that CD, I immediately thought of you - because I know you adore that song so much. It would be a perfect gift for you, you'd deserve a one!
