  1. Beautiful crowd, Lana RADIANT but the set list is a shambles. The holographic interludes murder the atmosphere and any artistic merit they have is lost in the nosebleeds. Country Roads is - by any metric - a horrible song. Ending a stadium show with a competent karaoke rendition of it is baffling and an insult to her own, vastly superior catalogue. Had she finished with one of her own, I guarantee the mass exodus from the stands would NOT have occurred. Also far too short blah blah blah who cares, I'm old anyway and I had a fucking FANTASTIC evening.
  2. I did NOT pay hundreds of Euro to go home with a John Fucking Denver song ringing in my ears. And whilst acknowledging that he makes Mother EXTREMELY happy, watching him, can of Red Bull in hand, gormlessly embrace her during a moment of genuine tenderness and be unable to resist making a grab for her arse made me queasy as shit.
  3. THIS, over and over and over...
  4. AKA the Jeremy Interlude?
  5. Jesus, the entitlement on here. She didn't invite her collaborators to BST so that she could satisfy the people on these boards. She did it to give them a platform that most of them have never had. Her current setlist might be a little static, but she's very clearly very very comfortable with it and her performances of late have been spectacular. If a performance of LTLI or Peppers had happened and had it been a little uncertain or under-rehearsed, would that have been satisfactory? I doubt it.
