Katy Perry is releasing her newest single “bandaids” this Thursday 
 

This makes me wonder if she's taking into consideration what she did with OB and if it's adjusted her thinking and planning for this album. OB was as close as a UV2 as we'll ever get I fear and it was easily her second or third best album tied with Honeymoon for me, so it makes me wonder if all the indecisiveness comes from a place of not knowing how to follow up the last one

We had the title track + album announcement + vinyl preorders all in one day and it came 3 months later

Well it’s better than no Henry, no bluebird, no live performances and no wedding pics 

We’re nearing the anniversary of TRPWS announcement  and while it may not seem like it we’ve actually gained some ground since then:
 
- Henry Come On and Bluebird officially released
 
- first glimpse into the visuals of this era (Neil’s pics + stagecoach design)
 
-3 new live tracks
 
- a revived Ethel diss track
 
- wedding photos
 
All signs currently point to nothing coming in January. Insiders are quiet and Lana herself basically said she’s still figuring out the tracklist a week ago. I’m not really sure what the point of this post is other than while things may be bleak we still got fed some good music and performances this past year 

I mean the album title is stove. Ya better call up her team.

Can an insider tell us when she decided to add the 6 autobiographical songs? I’m assuming sometime between November’s TRPWS announcement and the Bluebird insta reel where she told us the album was delayed. If she finished those songs by May or even June then I’m curious what the hold up has been? She was contemplating ending the album on Country Roads back in June. Now she’s maybe reworking a song from Lasso. I’m genuinely interested in this albums creative process bc it seems way messier than usual. 

It's crazy that half of the information we have right now its based on informations shared on Magazines rather than Lana's, lol. I'm patiently waiting for this album, I think it will have a big meaning later, I know she's hearing the critics for sure.  I believe at least a single has to come out by January... Bynils tend to take at least 8-10 weeks to be produced (2 months) so I suppose if she started the production by the middle of november, she wouldve had the vynils done by the end of january/ start of february.

I just wish she didn't gatekeep ts so muuch,  releasing 2 singles of an album that its not even announced 7 months ago isn't enough for us yk... 
 
But it's Lana, she could release the triple singles this friday, call it a day and go rest for the rest of the year. Still would've been enough to me

I need to know why she didn’t release french restaurant… like lyrically it’s very btd and also, I imagine that og production matches with the album.
 
Also I love LOVE love the mixing of sad girl so much !!! The demo sucks 

Honestly if i was her label I swear to god I will block her from releasing that album and concentrating on something else cuz what the fuck is this behavior
