Dark City liked a post in a topic by Lanaparadiserey in What time period/year was Lana's most interesting musically?
Honestly probably 2019-2023. I want to know everything that happened because it is such a wild few years with a lot of ups and downs lol
And we’ve gotten songs like A&W….and then songs like For Free

Dark City liked a post in a topic by RIP ivory almond in What time period/year was Lana's most interesting musically?
specifically October and November
right before the switch to Dan was the most pivotal moment in the UV timeline

now we think its
1. Old Money
2. Black Beauty
3. Guns n Roses
4. Lake Placid
5. Summertime
6. Melancholia
7. (I Talk to) Jesus
8. Pink Champagne
9. Elvis
10. Earthquakes
11. ?
12. ? (Supposedly Money & Power)
13. Preacher
but im here to say its
1. Old Money (honestly I can't tell, but I can see Old Money here, so I'll go with it)
2. Black Beauty (100%)
3. Guns n' Roses (I'd say it could be also Money & Power, but Guns n' Roses looks just more like it)
4. Lake Placid (100%)
5. Summertime (100%)
6. Melancholia (100%)
7. (I Talk to) Jesus (100%)
8. Pink Champagne (100%)
9. Elvis (100%)
10. Earthquakes (100%)
11. ? (I can't tell, but I'd personally go with Nectar of the Gods, I'd also say it could be Guns and Roses, but 3-d spot is more like it)
12. Money & Power (the first word doesn't look like Money, but the second word is definitely Power)
13. (Cult) LEADER (unless there's an actual song Preacher from those times that we don't know)
I tried to fit in the words Mike, Angels Forever (Forever Angels too), Hollywood, Ave Maria, Dragonslayer, The Other Side, Trans-Am, even tried Sweetheart and The Devil, but none fits to those writings

In regards to the ‘Tropico tracklist’ - what makes people think that that’s not some sort of tracklist? What is it then? I really don’t understand the reasoning that it’s just “a list of songs that happened to be underneath an underlined, bolded Tropico“
Genuinely curious cause I can’t see anything other than that being some sort of a concept for an album - or at the very least a project

Are You Ready? / Pants for You
Because of You
Damn You
Driving in Cars with Boys
Hollywood's Dead
Hundred Dollar Bill
Kinda Outta Luck
Live or Die
On Our Way
Paradise
Paris / Take Me to Paris
Puppy Love / Marilyn Monroe
Put the Radio On
Queen of Disaster
Serial Killer
She's Not Me
TV in Black and White
Us Against the World
Velvet Crowbar
You Can Be the Boss
What's a Girl to Do
i think these are the songs you can definitely call BTD outtakes, the rest of the songs recorded during this time might have also been intended for BTD but she was having a songwriter pitching era with a lot of the songs she wrote (Roses, Meet Me in the Pale Moonlight, Ghetto Baby, etc) so we don't really know. we do have that sampler's tracklist of 20 songs she sent to that one site so i guess the ones that didnt release from that sampler are definite BTD outtakes

I thought BOZ said at one point that it was basically a mix between paradise and UV and almost all songs that began writing in that sort of era could be claimed for any project nearly- which is why wild one sounds bizarrely out of place.

Dark City liked a post in a topic by The Siren in LDR Album Process Discussion
i dont think Paradise had any pre-BTD release songs on it. i think they just took whatever songs they were finishing for Tropico and rush released the EP as a companion to BTD instead cos it was too soon for a full album

Wait why did I always think Tropico was an early version of paradise not uv

Idk but that writing doesn't look like Money & Power and Axl Rose.
