She may as well just call it Country Record at this point seeing as she lacks imagination with the title. Lasso was fine…she didn’t need to change it.

it always does astound me how unserious her label lets her be around her albums by not reprimanding her more around the fake album announcements  like she had a whole date and cover announced before she uploaded that 'it’s changed again' video
 
i say that but ive been round long enough to know she has done this since UV (with the exception of HM because that was probably her most easy pre-release) so i’m not shocked
 
i think announcing the pre-order with a single just before the uk tour would be perfect timing

when i was younger, i didn't know that old money was an actual term that meant something, so i thought that "old money" literally referred to money, like dollar bills, that are old, it still would've worked for lana's aesthetic honestly

kinda rando but I went to the location where that one clip in the Venice MV is located (the one in my sig)! it's in SF and it's called Ocean Beach and it's actually kinda close to my apartment but I haven't gone in a while since it's been foggy/windy. It was a clear day today though so  I never really appreciated the area until I saw the video and it's been one of my favorite places in SF ever since (i always listen to VB while watching the sunset!). it looks kinda different today because they've made changes over time but it still has the same charm and is absolutely beautiful during the sunset. the surrounding area is even more beautiful imo

I still really appreciate how this is her only(?) song that fades out, I really want more sounds like that  gives it a bit more of a 80s/90s feeling almost?

It’s an unpopular opinion on here but I agree  the original has so much soul. I would have loved a cover that was more like Hey Baby Blue or whatever it’s called but we just got the same Blue Bannisters ballad. I don’t think it should’ve gotten the pop Doin’ Time cover treatment, but that cover is a bit more true to the source material with some of its elements while this cover doesn’t have those iconic banjo/steel guitar sounds. This is just You’ll Never Walk Alone but much better. Beautiful cover overall but we know she can do better
