This is one of the greatest song she ever made. I think this album might be even better than Melodrama if given enough time.

I rather like all three singles-
 
WWT is classic Lorde single wordy greatness
 
MOTY is prob my fav, the breakdown and vocal performance and production quality is so rich
 
Hammer is a hazy, androgynous track that builds like an orgasm
 
 
I absolutely agree these songs should be longer. They feel like they could’ve gone somewhere even further but I’m worried she held back after getting clocked for the Solar Power weirdness (Oceanic Feeling GOAT)

I understand the frustration regarding the short length given that it’s been four years since Solar Power. But it won’t matter if the quality is there.
 
I found both singles extremely underwhelming, but I’m being cautiously optimistic about the album. They might click once I get to listen to it in its entirety. 

haven’t seen this yet and it’s not typically my genre (i’m more of a slut for horror) but something about this one really intrigues me even tho i haven’t seen a full trailer or even know the plot. what’s your rating out of 10 for it? i’ll def return once ive seen it though!

I don’t get why people are freaking out about the album length. 34mins seems pretty normal for an 11 track album? Lorde’s never been the type to make very long songs so idk what people were expecting lol. It’s only like 2 minutes shorter than Pure Heroine

thank god this is here. honestly a lot of people on tiktok are overlooking/ignoring the fact that the lana “inspiration” is so on the nose it just feels unauthentic. that being said, the songs are still pretty good. it just takes me out of it a lot.
