I don’t think Steven was that expensive honestly. If it was she sure as hell wasn’t paying for it since it was her label that decided not to use it! As I’m sure it’s been mentioned before, I’m 99% sure Kim was given full creative control with this album on the conditions the label didn’t have to fund any music videos, photoshoots etc. Looks like she’s essentially independent with a label funding her recording sessions lol
