It could've slapped harder than FMWUTTT and MPG combined honestly

I think it does reference the Guardian interview judging by how that dying part is in third person and she's obviously talking about how people perceive her

 

I love this with my whole heart and all but this song doesn't have a point or any redeeming verse in it in this version

We don't learn anything from it and therefore it doesn't make much sense idk

 

But I like how she altered the change factor in the final album version and added that extra layer of redemption from your vanity that this version lacks

The lyrics just don't go anywhere here
