I wasn’t sure if we were allowed to vote for more than 1, but I did 

 

Video Games because it’s her first ‘big’ homemade video and so lovely 

 

Love, because I love the retro future theme and the whole ‘Live! From the moon’ is a mood (plus it got me through a VERY dark time in early 2017)

 

Doin Time, because it’s lovely and we got the Lizzy throwback 

 

Summertime (TGV), because I love her blonde hair, and the set feels very chill..like she’s just performing with her friends

Its really a tie between shades of cool and west coast for me.  I love those vibrant fiery and colorful effects.  Idk if they're "experimental" but they're so different and really dramatic.

Honeymoon is my absolute favorite, but for Poll 2 I couldn't pick between FIILY/TG and Doin' Time. One's beautifully understated, and the other's ridiculously maximalist, and they're both killer

Nothing can top Blue Jeans for me. The opening sequence. The closing. The crocodiles. How the white swimsuit looks against the b&w. How flawless lana looks. The pool ripples.

I remember Blue Jeans was the 4th song I heard from Lana and it was the only one I didn't like much. Something about her voice. I thought she was trying to sing with an accent lmao. Then I saw the video and it completely changed my mind. 

 

 

And Doin Time is just that bitch

I love the Born to Die video. That was the first big-budget music video Lana ever did and it’s just so timeless and beautiful. It’s probably my favourite of them all for those reasons. 
 

I also love the Honeymoon video because it’s so intimate. While it may seem like a simple VHS visual, there’s a real psychological narrative to it that has to do with “being watched” when you look closely. I love High By the Beach and Music to Watch Boys to for the same reasons because while HBTB further builds upon Lana being watched, MTWBT has Lana doing the watching. That whole album is just perfect to me in every way 

 

The videos for National Anthem, Ride, West Coast, Shades of Cool, Freak, Doin Time, and Chemtrails Over the Country Club are also favourites of mine because there’s a real cinematic quality to them that is just classic Lana. 
 

I actually think I like them all a lot now that I’ve written this  but these ones have resonated with me the most!
