"Video Games" music video turns 10 today

This anniversary almost passed without recognition. It's hard to pin down an exact "anniversary" for Videos Games' success since it took a few months to take off and there were multiple uploads. But the original video was first uploaded by Lana 5 May 2011—10 years ago today.

It's nice looking at the old YouTube because it reminds me of a time before mukbangs, beauty community drama and hype house videos. What bliss it was.

What a day, I'm so happy that such a masterpiece of a song like is Video Games was her breakthrough, imagine if this was never a hit and left un leaked until 2012, that would've been such a crime lol

 

I REALLY would like to see if she ever did more stuff with Robopop, their production was amazing (even if she thought at least when BTD got released that it sounded cheap compared to the others)
