the idea for this thread was bouncing around in my head for a bit but @Mer's status update inspired me to actually make it

 

discuss the online game Wordle

basically you try to guess the 5-letter word in 6 tries - if a letter gets highlighted green that means it's the right letter in the right place - if a letter gets highlighted yellow it means it's in the word but not in the right place - if it doesn't get highlighted it means it's not in the word at all

i mean it's the currency of a country with 1.38 BILLION people so i wouldn't really consider it dumb... yeah maybe irrelevant to the interests of the western world specifically white people but i wouldn't call it dumb

I’ve heard people like to use Audio, Adieu, or Quiet for maximum vowels, but I always just use intuition, something new each day. My starting word for today was:

which left me with one green, 3 yellows, and only one grey. So I find better luck using intuition rather than a set strategy x

honestly it's so boring when people these strategies to minimise the number of guesses.. its so fun to just wing it
