Is Lana Del Rey a Psychic?

Many have her lyrics are so on the zeitgeist/ collective unconscious that they predict the future in sometimes eery ways. Discuss..  I personally think the NDE's she references in some of her music may play a part in her clairvoyance and perhaps prophecy gifts. What is this all leading up to? A lot of her music videos depict Nuclear War . Given the news that's not inspiring.

isn't it wrong to force your beliefs onto someone who doesn't believe those beliefs (to our knowledge at least)?

 

like it's one thing to relate music that is not about your beliefs to your beliefs (which many people do and is part of interpreting art) but to straight up project those beliefs onto a person?

well, i mean, i think she probably does believe in that sort of thing.. her poem, tessa dipietro, for one. the rolling stone interview from 2014 where she visits a psychic, the numerous posts she's made about random psychics.. etc etc

Not sure she’s a full fledged psychic but I bet she’s really good at reading people and their energies. She strikes me as someone who has great character discernment. She also gives me the impression that she has a stronger connection with “supernatural” forces that tie back to her family, almost like spiritual guides that navigate her thru life.

aside from what i said about assigning religious beliefs onto other people, this is pretty much everything else i think about this topic phrased perfectly

I think she's interested in that "world", but not there herself. Remember when she was promoting that psychic/reader on her instagram? 

I would say she's turned there from time to time because it sounded like psychological therapy didn't help her. But much like her infamous church visits, I doubt it's been consistent or that it really stuck.
