This year is also special because Lana's management was assigned to choose the candidate for the UK, and it became the famous English songwriter Sam Ryder, whom Lana supports.

Regularly, because they're (associated) member of the European Broadcasting Union. Also Marocco has participated in 1980. The competition has been very famous in Australia for a long time, and I think it was the desire of Australian fans to participate. Their first appearance was in 2015 at the 60th edition.

Ukraine should have won for their song last year. It was obvious they were going to win this year because of the war. I wonder where they’ll host next years though.
