No te pierdas el segundo avance de Elvis de Baz Luhrmann - Arata

I finally saw it today (it premiered just yesterday in my country).

My expectations were so high; I've been waiting a whole year for this, and I am not disappointed at all.

I have extreme mood swings when it comes to both Baz and Elvis - the movies/music I like, I really, REALLY like, and the work I don't like I can't stand at all - but I'll take this thread as another in the 'pro' column :)

I really liked the movie! My only problem with it is that I felt like some scenes went by wayyyy too fast and some too slow. Don't really like how they skipped over his whole movie era which is so iconic looking back.

Spoiler

I also still think Priscilla was wrongly casted... :judgingu:

Baz said that he might release a 4 hour cut of the movie and I would love to see that if it happens

I’ve not watched it yet, But lately I’ve had the thought this very well could be the last big Elvis moment in history.

I love suspicious minds & junkie’s little less conversation…

:ma:
Oh, I love that Eminem is on the soundtrack because he’s like the new Elvis/MJ.

I’ve always seen him as the modern king of “Pop/Rock/Music” Like this era’s Michael Jackson.

And he’s referenced Elvis in his works before, I just thought it was so cool he got to be on the soundtrack…

oh ok, maybe we can go with the fact that in 1972 he raped her then

Any sources?

Priscilla still speaks greatly of him, respects him, loves him, calls him the love of her life, works everyday to keep his legacy... :rip: Elvis was a gentleman
