i've been reading picoult books for years and love them! a lot of her books are psychological thrillers with romance mixed in. also a lot of legal thrillers. i don't recommend if you don't like reading about dark topics (suicide, assault, etc.)

 

'the pact' was the first book i read by her - highly recommend:
