i also really love mermaid motel's lyrics! lizzy grant lyrics in general are some of my favorites <3

Not her original but I'm obsessed with this 

 

I love Burnt Norton as well. If she incorporated spoken poetry into her songs (like Violet mixed with vocal albums) I would go OFF.

im obsessed with lana’s poetry. i have a lot of favorites but i’d say my top poems are:

 

- patent leather do-over

- past the bushes cypress thriving

- never to heaven

- the land of 1,000 fires

My favourite poem of hers is by far My Bedroom is a Sacred Place Now - There Are Children at the Foot of My Bed, I read it as I was leaving behind a very damaging situationship and it helped me so much to relate to and find comfort in it.
