honeymouns was just posting them because they said that they were making a custom, remastered uv vinyl. the vocals imo sound clearer so.. especially earthqaukes

They are going to sell a CD (sorry, I'm not familiar with vinyl) to make money off of the unreleased songs? Or is it some type of non-profit thing? If they're doing it a charity I think that's great and I don't think Lana would care too much but if they're pocketing the money that's a bit strange.

Plenty of Lana fans mix their own bootleg records and have them pressed for their own personal collections. It’s the whole appeal of collecting unreleased music to me. It’s just materializing your music into something physical and pretty to look at. Especially with so many scrapped records and ideas- Lana’s catalogue is a great candidate for the concept!

I’ll add that if you ever see an AKA Lizzy Grant vinyl, it’s  a bootleg, and probably a fan mastered one at that! @Strangelove

someone leak zodiac or something this is boring. regardless, to make a real "remaster" wouldn't they need the stems/takes/instrumental? it sounds like they just put these files into fl and maybe tweaked it a little to turn up the volume on her vocals. that's why a lot of music can't truly be remastered or even remixed, because the tapes have either been sold off or burnt in accidental fires (thanks, Universal!)

Hopefully this person can post Melancholia vocals if that's what they used to remaster the song with the Ultraviolence instrumental. Because the Ultraviolence instrumental is online. I would also love to hear a remixed version of Earthquake with the vocal track because that song is kind of boring.
