I don’t think it’s a bad thing she’s taking time and re-tooling. It’s kind of a different project than her previous records due to the fact that she’s been working on the music for the last four years… all while still dropping other albums. Plus, she just got married. Maybe she wants to work towards something that reflects her current headspace. I’m considering this next album a bit of a refresher on her persona after going deep and revealing so much personal info in the last 3 albums. Praying for a fresh new vision and something fun to bop to

If you weren't here in late October, Lana said that she thinks that the songs from Lasso are still "half-cooked" and in the Vogue interview she also said (again) that the album is heading towards Southern Gothic. But nothing has happened in November, so far.

I literally just want some decent production. The production on Ocean Blvd was so bad, if the production was a 10/10 it would have been an incredible album. Like the album is already amazing but the sloppy production holds it back. We need Lasso/LDR10 to have expensive, gorgeous production

She needs to do an interview with Apple Music / Zane Lowe at least an hour long.

Tbh I hope she sticks with the “fun, at ease lyrics” and more “melodic, like American songbook” songs she talked about in June for NME. 
 

She’s got a second wind in popularity and just got married, so it seems like a natural progression to want to keep the songs happier and light this time around, and we really don’t need a third honest/revealing album in a row.
