baddisease Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 hi! I love True Crime documentaries and shows (both the super serious kind, like #textmewhenyougethome and the comedic/comedic-ish kind Court Cam) and movies. Does anyone have any specific shows they like? Or YT channels/videos? 2 Quote

Does anyone have any specific shows they like? Or YT channels/videos? A week ago, I watched some videos about some of the sickest shit ever, like it was so sick that it made me feel sick and uneasy - that's coming from someone who isn't really easily triggered by horror stuff. I'll post the YouTube links in the spoilers because it might be disturbing for some: Spoiler https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=n-abxgFv1bU&fbclid=PAY2xjawGJjsRleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABphBNJXvZRW91KyGV5gFtuBBelcTYsGibaWl2C0dmTphtzhye3pwSthWHkg_aem_11llJm5g3ubj3HR4DbvOoA ⬆️ YouTube doesn't allow embedding of this, probably because of disturbing content. For YouTube "True Crime"-esque stories or disturbing stories from around the world, I recommend Nick Crowley from YouTube, he has posted some of fucked up shit ever 1 Quote
Barry Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 I don't really watch that type of stuff but I did see this one recently as it was recommended on youtube. They must have recommended it to most people as i't got 9 million views now but it was pretty interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lS5jfJSqr8 0 Quote
shadesofblue Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 I watch a lot of true crime! I'm kinda picky when finding different documentaries/youtubers/podcasts/etc. because it's hard finding one's that have the right intentions and treat victims stories with respect. Some of my favs are: crime junkie podcast prob the first true crime podcast I started listening to. They're on Spotify, Apple Music, and just started posting on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@CrimeJunkie/videos. They have other podcasts under the same network now too called audiochuck. It's by two woman who have been besties since childhood/birth. I find them to be easy to follow. Some podcasts are too monotone which makes it hard for me to pay attention or others get off topic too much which seems disrespectful and inappropriate imo. mile higher podcast/YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/@MileHigher it's this couple who discusses different cases but also some conspiracy theory things and just interesting stories. I like how they break things down and the wife Kendall has her own channel and makes other true crime vids I like too. They always super respectful to victims and their families Explore with us https://www.youtube.com/@ExploreWithUs YouTube channel that goes through some interesting cases. They analyze the body language and psychology using footage of police cams and interrogations mostly. unsolved mysteries there's a new version of the show on Netflix and theres also an older version of the show that has a bunch of seasons. I think my favorite cases to learn more about are unsolved/missing person/mysterious deaths so this show has a lot of interesting episodes. They can dramatize things/leave out a lot of other details, so sometimes I look for other podcasts/videos that dig deeper into the case. 1 Quote ♡︎
