I looked at the other works of the creative directors of the shoot and they literally gave NOTHING to lana. not a crumb of creativity. nothing to represent her just ugly styling and a prada bag for her to hold. and they literally choose the worst photo for the cover. other ones are far more better than that. I can't with the retouch to her beautiful goddess face, who did that editing?

tbh this makes sense to me, my best writing (in my own personal journal) is when my heart is broken, when i’m lonely. when i’m happy and in love and busy with good things, my writing is lacking and i have less to say about it because we have so many ways to describe sadness but describing happiness feels out of place, you’d rather just be experiencing it.

 

i think once their honeymoon phase is completely done, we will get a lot more love songs about him, and probably songs about the surprises she’s found within marriage and/or domestic life, she may need time to ponder and look back on her love and experience before fully understanding and writing about it. it’s hard to see the forest when you’re right under the tree ya know?
