I got to thinking about her recent comment "Oh no. I gave them HELL" on the instagram video claiming she left her men easily & with utter softness and not begging and how she "just vanished" and I find it quite a strange post by the creator of the video but also INTRIGUING from her point of view. and to comment and how we don't have that many punch songs as it relates to some of them. obviously A&W relates to the pig cheater but like idk I wonder if she is sitting on some amazing Subversive lyrical songs. and maybe she doesn't release them for whatever reasons , maybe due to not wanting to show anger or have that narrative take up the topic of her music or bring that fire into the world of her music but I am so curious to know more about some of those breakups. especially the ones who cheated like scum Francesco and idk my rant is just inspired by her navigating so many loves and now she's happily married and made it to this dream she seemed to crave and I wonder if it will inspire any music on the new album

Honestly just releasing an EP instead of an album would be the best move. She clearly don't know how to proceed with this country esque theme and is struggling. There are barely any reasons for it to be postponed since she is performing songs from it. And I highly doubt that the marriage is the reason as to why she would change the album and keep reworking it. Also where is the henry or bluebird video that was teased few months ago. Some insider who knows whats going on should share something.

 

If it is an EP then I hope that it includes roses bloom for you.

oh, not this long wait just for an EP 

I remember her saying once that she didn't want the album to be half-cooked. So it's good that she's still perfecting it. We also know that she went to Electric Lady Studios to probably remaster it.

She must have three dozen Country-esque originals to choose from by now, including those with very broad impersonal lyrics she mentioned quite a while ago--'Quiet in the South' may be one of those. Obviously, 'SFOA' is the opposite of that, about as personal a song as she's ever written. She's probably decided to shift the album into a more personal mode, and it's those newer songs she's been working on. 

 

She may have decided to include 'Stand By Your Man' purely as a tribute to Jeremy; perhaps she had already recorded it for her Classics & Standards album. 

 

So I don't think we can accurately say "she clearly doesn't know how to proceed with this country-esque theme," when we know she struggled with and greatly altered what eventually became Paradise, Ultraviolence, and Lust for Life. NFR! and BB went through some less dramatic transitions, too. 

 

All in all, she's behaving very much like herself.

I would say Blue Banisters was even more jarring - one point she added the soundtracks songs from Big Eyes, another point she had Rock Candy Sweet as the title track and then changed that song's title and removed it from the album, then included the YouTube songs. That album was quite messy compared to some of the others. UV happened to be messy because of the label and her choice of producer and then leaks happening, not so much because she couldn't make her mind up 

 

but yeah, we should expect nothing less from her at this point

I need Lana doing SOUNDTRACKS for movies again.. I saw Age of Adaline and hearing Life Is Beautiful playing is soul healing.... 

Please let any outtake from this album be a soundtrack for some southern movie for the sake of GOD 

Lana always delievers when its anything About movie soundtracks (still mourning for the priscilla songs.)

If she initially intended to have 'Fine China' and 'I Talk to Jesus' on UV, then I'd say it changed quite a bit in tenor.

Guys, am I going to get hate if I say I want Stand By Your Man on the album? Like, omg. I am obsessed with her version.

This album is one of the most mysterious things, but what is more interesting is what the mirror song was for. If lasso used to be a super stripped back album, like original Henry snippet, then why did she even decide to use that song at fenway. Like even if it wasn't planned to be on ldr10, it's still more lust for life track either than a country song. Same with her mentioning southern gothic influence twice and then saying that there was a mistake in translation from Italian.We really need a big interview, cuz if she didn't scrap the album, then it's still important to her, but the amount of times she changed her mind about it...

 

Also idk why but I feel like we could have cotcc and bb situation again, with her releasing two album within one year, since she has so many versions and songs already. Like I think that ldr10 will mostly consist of new songs, like sfoa and 57.5. But there could be another record with older songs like Henry, mb smth like tough or the mirror.

Also I've been just listening to Henry and bluebird again and you know guys I really feel like these songs won't be on the album and this feeling become stronger everyday. I started thinking about that when she performed stagecoach songs and I was like, Henry and bluebird must be from another world since the lyrics is pretty sad and doesn't have anything to do with her recent married life. And now when she said that she's still thinking about what songs to include and she's really inspired by songs like sbym, I really think that she could leave these songs to be stand along singles. And honestly idk if it's good or not and mb it's just me and my crazy mind, but I wanted to share these thoughts too
