But it wasn't one of those insiders. I think if there are more dates booked, then she'll more likely announce it during/after her festival in August. Btw still hope for the album news🙏 But if you think about Lana would be one of the fewest female artists to sell out a SoFi stadium if she does it like I think it might be sold out 3 He said to be cool but I’m already coolest
jimmyjimmycocoapuff Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Has anyone called Liz from Calihoma? Perhaps she may have something to say? 8

If anything, this show was probably booked in advance and that Lana's team still has yet to scrap it. Could it be a one off though? We'll see.
DontMakeMeSayItAgain Posted July 12 Posted July 12 I’d love if this album channeled the political bite of Lust for Life—but paired with that early, witchy, Blade Runner-esque sound she flirted with at the start, plus those Western tinges she brought in on Bluebird and Henry, Come On. And more than anything, I want an updated version of The Greatest—her current POV on the state of the culture, six years later. The world’s even more unhinged now. Trump’s back. The vibes are off. I want to know her take. The public meltdown last fall over her marrying Jeremy—everyone instantly projecting 1950s tradwife fantasies onto her—feels ripe for a response. I think it could inspire some cutting, fiery song writing. She’s already been flipping that narrative on its head with songs like Quiet in the South (burning down the house because her lover’s MIA) and Stars Fell on Alabama (threatening to fight people critiquing Jeremy). If she leans into that energy—messy, defiant, unbothered—it could be another culturally sharp album from her similar to NFR. 17

Yeah but the media and locals crucify her when she gets defiant so there’s that. 5

American Whore Posted July 12 Posted July 12 At this point I wonder what she could be doing. I think we need BOZ to spill some tea, especially the making of Lasso being turned into The Right Person and then whatever the fuck it is now. Maybe he's waiting for her to announce the final title of the album and he'll start telling us? Mostly I wanna know how many tracks have been optioned and put on and taken off the tracklist like she always seems to do 19 to die by ur side, well the pleasure, the privilege is mine

Ya but the music and impact will live on way longer than some twitter trolls nonsense or some article written about her (fuck the New York post) 7

terrenceszyou Posted July 13 Posted July 13 The delay in the release is similar to NFR, which makes me think we'll get one of the best albums of her career. The possible tracklisting reshuffles make me believe that, even after the release, we'll see leaks of tracks or how the project would have turned out in each of its attempts, making the album debatable for years to come. What I most hope for is for the album to have a body and a distinctive and interesting identity. She had it on her last homemade albums, but I want something more tangible, especially when we have stars, swamps, alligators, burning houses, and country boots. Besides, it would be extremely natural. So, let her immerse herself in this new aesthetic. However, the main factor that makes me believe this WON'T be like that is feeling Lana's own vibes. With NFR, she was clearly enthusiastic throughout: she couldn't help but post snippets, sing on Instagram, and smile since Mariners. Now, when she talks about the album, she seems completely disinterested and unhappy. Maybe it's even like Blue Banisters, where she just lets go and lets go. 17

I'm wondering why she's just silent about the album, we didn't have interview, even at met gala. The only thing she said at UK tour is that she's thinking about country roads being on the album. Idk if this festival in August is country related, but mb she'll say more there. Also if there's this rumored show in September in California, mb it has smth to do with album release 8
