i got bored and looked at my stats fm. my wrapped will look something like this. i didnt listen to music that much this year ive been working non-stop  it is also extremely GAY

This year i was listening to mp3 files a lot more than spotify, last year i got 18k minutes and 0.005% top for lana so i definitely won't get that again this year

this is my problem. i mostly listened to my music app which is where i keep all of my non-spotify music (unreleased, remixes, alt editions, etc). i would say 70% of my listening goes to that tbh. i’m also more of a shuffle person rather that replaying an album over and over (unless it is a new release)

Shuffle is so real listening to an album front to back is such a chore sometimes

I'm looking forward to last.fm's wrapped thing they do though! I have all my streams linked to that (Spotify, SoundCloud, MP3 files) so it's much closer to reality than Spotify wrapped

Whenever Lana has a new album, it’s almost guaranteed she’ll be on top of my Wrapped. I wonder how things will look this year

I tried to manipulate my results to get Lana's Heroin as my most listened song on Spotify (played it 100+ times on computer, even without sound) because I thought I will get the same song as my number 1 this year as last year's but I think I did that after the stream count deadline. So yeah, I probably got late.

 

This year, I listened to Spotify more less than last year, I only listened to it occasionally like few times per month, I did use Spotify more often earlier this year.

 

So here are my predictions:

 

My top 5 most listened artists:

1. Princess Chelsea (peaked in March)

2. Lana Del Rey (peaked in November)

3. Florence + The Machine (peaked in February)

4. Nostalghia (peaked in January)

5. Jonathan Bree (peaked in October)

 

My top 5 most listened songs (if my manipulated results did not make the deadline):

1. Digital Dream Girl - ca 60 streams and I predict the day where I streamed it the most was around in mid-February with maybe ~5 times.

2. No Church On Sunday (single version)

3. No Church On Sunday (album version)

4. Be My Man (Demo)

5. I Miss My Man

 

My top 5 most listened genres:

1. Pop

2. Auckland Indie

3. Baroque pop

4. NZ pop

5. Art pop

 

The day where I streamed the most music: March 5th, 2024, let's say for like 6 hours (road trip day). I also predict that this year I listened to ~600-800 songs which makes it same or less or more than last year, which result showed 701 songs. I did listen to less Spotify this year but I also think I listened to more other artists this year.

i don't know if you know but i heard that if you replaying the same song many times in row they stop counting. if you wanted manipulate put after four Heroins song by different artist. Spotify wants to prevent streaming farms.
