The high pass again muffles the vocals since it cuts out the local frequencies so her vocals are basically just one flat frequency it sound robotic and muffled And the vocals are also so much louder than the instrumental that the crazy amount of reverb they put on her vocals is really prominent The chorus isn't awful but something about the first verses is actually horrendous I can't believe it was released in this state 2 Quote

Super Movie Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Has it been long enough for me to admit that the drums on Wildflower Wildfire actually drive me nuts 10 Quote

Crimson and Clover Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Not really a mastering issue but TNBAR still having the “fame, fame, fame, fame…” echoes in the pre-chorus not sure if it’s an overlook or an Easter egg but it sends me either way 9 Quote

It's so unnecessary it dosent add anything to the song...I don't see the vision....when I first listened to the album I thought my headphones were broken...and then I thought it was a production error that would get fixed....I Guess Not 4 Quote
Glitter Boy Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Arcadia, Text Book and Kintsugi. I love all three songs, but let me put in words what I mean. Arcadia - it has a terrible compression in the chorus (the vocals clash horribly it even distorts), and the overall mixing is very weird, even at such a simple instrumentation. Text Book - some parts are so off tempo that it sounds improvised. Couldn't she had done another take with more rehearsals? Btw this also applies for Candy Necklace's second chorus, the part where Jon starts playing faster but Lana hadn't finished singing so he had to slow down and she hurries up? It's too noticeable to ignore. Kintsugi - sounds like a voice memo placed over an instrumental - or worse, an instrumental created around a voice memo, which I'm certain it is. Again, she should've rehearsed the song based on the voice memo and then have a professional, in-studio recording for it, instead of using the first thing she recorded on her phone. @Charlottexseax at least that's what I find wrong with Kintsugi, but idk if they would mention something different. 1 Quote "I'm wild, I'm free, no man can handle me"

Ice Cream Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Sorry but I love “Heroin” so much by the way it’s my top streamed song among all of Lana’s tracks however the song has a very annoying issue which is the mic wind noise when Lana sings if you notice when you turn up the volume you can hear the wind noise and it’s very irritating to me otherwise the rest of the song is a 10/10 4 Quote ?? ??? ??? ?? ? ????? ???, ??? ?? ??? ? ???? ?? ????? ?? ?????-??? ??? *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚
