Another person on the boards that I follow on Instagram posted about them on their story yesterday, and that was how I found out XYLØ/Paige was still making music under another project  I literally just unfollowed her on instagram earlier this month because I though she quit music and went MIA or something loool. I'm excited to listen to the new project! Unamerican Beauty is still one of my favourite records, so I'm looking forward to what's to come with Sunday (1994) I listened to Tired Boy last night and loved it, so I'll listen to the whole EP this weekend! x

Omgg.. I'm suprised someone remember XYLØ duo... loved their songs. America was my fav.

I hadn't heard of Xylø until I got into Sunday, but I recently started listening to Paige’s older music, and I think it's pretty good! Sunday has been teasing a new album lately, so definitely keep your eyes peeled for that if you like the EP!

Ohhh I was gonna make a thread about them! The Lizard Review did a fantastic episode about them. Tired Boy is a fucking bop, Blonde + Stained Glass Window are great too,They have potential, I see a bit of Lana inspo in the visuals and sound, but the Lana nachos taste good asf. Hopefully we get a full LP from them eventually. I’d love to see them in concert too.

New song isn’t bad, I think it’ll grow on me. Their music is kinda samey, kinda like Cigarettes After Sex, but Paige has a great voice so it’s more interesting. I don’t know how they’ll beat Tired Boy though, that song is fucking phenomenal.

Checked to see if a thread for this existed, and lo and behold it does! Love this band so much. I’ve been a fan of Paige’s for a while now so when they formed a new group I followed instantly. Waiting for them to do a gig in Ireland sometime, that would be the dream!

Her and her brother formed the band XYLØ around 2015-2016. He left the band around 2020 and she made a solo album called unamerican beauty which came out in 2022 and is SO good!

 

You can tell where she was going with the album, and how it lead her to Sunday 1994. A lot of the same visuals are there, and the music videos are iconic. She deleted her TikTok and blacked out her Instagram + Spotify but it’s still available to listen to!

I did in fact go to this show and it was amazing!! Met the band after and they were so nice. They ended up being on my top artists on Spotify at the end of the year, can't wait to hear what they do next

There's some Bonus tracks from their latest EP "Devotion" coming soon... I wish they tried something different for their debut album, I like their style but I don't want them to become another Cigarettes After Sex, with them basically recycling the same formula over and over again.

I'm so happy for them!!! But I'm even more excited by their caption, I am in a desperate need for new music and the fact that they're either releasing or announcing something Friday just makes so happy.
