From my experience from earlier this year when my brother and I tried to get Japanese concert tickets...

You sign up for interest, but you're not guaranteed to get access to the pre-sales. You're randomly chosen and if you're lucky, you get a chance to buy a concert ticket.

This artist we tried to get tickets had a specific way to sell tickets, other artists and bands might use another. For this one, we signed up for interest for specific shows/dates, crossed our fingers and hoped we'd get a chance to buy tickets. If not, there was a second chance as well. If we were lucky, it sounded like we had to buy tickets and they couldn't be sold to somebody else, even if one of us would get sick and couldn't go. And that was it. Some bands have official fan clubs and they'll get pre-sale access.
And like some mentioned earlier in this thread, UK artist Sam Fender even tried to randomly pick pre-sale links to send to fans by having them submit their post codes to see if they're from a specific town where he would play.

My guess is that Lana's shows will have people sign up for pre-sales (like we are doing now), some will be randomly picked and recieve a pre-sale link, and the rest will have to wait for the general sale.

It’s so the promoters can access your listening data and notify you for other events I presume? A bit like that “so and so is playing in your area”’notification.

Just received this in one of my emails - it says I have been automatically selected for the presale ballot! I hadn’t submitted this particular email to the ballot through the link her manager shared, but it has been subscribed to her newsletter. I’m subscribed to the newsletter on a few different email accounts, but so far I have only received it in one (though for her past mailings, I’ve received them in my different inboxes at various times - I assume they stagger their messages) x

Probably her friends Nikki Lane, Holly Macve (she's also Irish), Julia Jacklin or even Jack with Bleachers or Ocean Blvd collaborators like Tommy Genesis, RIOPY, SYML. I can see it being similar to NFR Tour where every opening act was her country/folk music indie artist

Amazing news! I might actually catch her in Dublin. I just hope she releases at least two Lasso singles until then.
