it's quite gorgeous! the other covers are of heroin, living legend, ride, and beautiful (lol at that last one??).

Thanks for the heads up  - I haven't heard of him, but I'll be listening to this tonight. And his record label, Secretly Canadian, is a pretty legit indie label with a long history, so that gives him some credit in my eyes.

This seems to be a bigger project, because the musicians involved have all worked with known artists e.g. Sam Gendel with Vampire Weekend and Mk.gee, Benny Bock with TheWeeknd or CaseyMQ with Shygirl.

This is out now. It's interesting - I think it might take more getting used to, but he made a heartfelt and genuine series of interpretations.

I really dont like to put other people's art down but this is ass 

Its giving those tiktok videos where they sing the comment section 

He does have a great voice tho and Ive listened to some of his other songs and I really liked them, I just think these covers are not good at all
