I'm VERY excited for the new Wes Anderson, I love all his movies. I'm kind of bored of this whole sequel/existing IP sludge that's coming out these days, but I will be seated for the (last?) Mission Impossible. I'll see 28 Years Later if it's not too gory- apparently it's really good. A few indie movies have me intrigued, Marty Supreme, Sorry Baby.

I think Charli is in that… which reminds me, I’m rly anticipating Mother Mary, movie’s about a melodrama about a pop star- Charli and Jack Antonoff are doing the soundtrack!

the phoenician scheme by wes anderson (cast is impressive as always!)

the life of chuck by mike flanagan starring tom hiddleston (stephen king adaption!) - this movie will most likely get a best picture nomination at the oscars because last year at the toronto international film festival in september 2024 it won "the people's choice awards" against anora and emilia perez - all the winners of this award at tiff in the last 10 years have been nominated for best picture at the oscars (and most of them have also won). very looking forward for this movie!

eddington by ari aster (the ensemble cast is so good and promising!!!)

frankenstein by guillemoro del toro (the cast is also impressive!)

one battle after another by paul thomas anderson starring leonardo dicaprio

materialists by celine song starring dakota johnson

marty supreme by josh safdiie starring timothee chalamet

bugonia by yorgos lanthimos starring emma stone

a big bold beautiful journey by kogonada starring margot robbie and colin farrell

after the hunt by luca guadagnino starring julia roberts

bruce springsteen biopic

michael jackson biopic

die my love by lynne ramsay starring jennifer lawrence and robert pattinson

sacrifice by romain gavras starring anya taylor joy

i wouldn't say that i want to see them all, because everything will depend how the trailers will look like. it's just the ones which intrigue me the most based on the plot and cast.

Always excited for Anderson! Although his last few films didn't quite do it for me. But I'm hoping for another Grand Budapest level of magic!

Mission Possible is a must! The last few were 10/10s as far action movies go, and I think Tom Cruise saving all his proverbial juice for this franchisee is a smart move.

Marty Supreme: yes! Almost anything Chalamet does turns to gold, so I am freaking sat.

Ahhh, that's a great list. Thanks for sharing.

Ari Aster, Paul Thomas, Wes, Del Toro etc - absolutely stoked! I think DiCaprio, in particular, is a shoe in for an Oscar nom. Frankenstein visuals look fire too, and this might be a major candidate for production design, costume, it not BP.

The Bugonia plot sounds particularly interesting to me story wise. Camp Mars Attacks vibes? Hopefully, it's more Poor Things than Kinda of Kindness, though.

Out of all of those you listed, I have the most faith in Luca G.'s After the Hunt. I think Queer was absolutely magnificent (as well as criminally underrated), and Challengers was pretty solid.

I'm a little less sure about that Stephen King adaptation just because those rarely work. And, I'm not feeling the Bear actor as Bruce Springsteen. Plus, music biopics are just so god-damn tired. But who knows.

Let's keep track of those trailers! Btw, Edward Burger (Conclave) has something with Colin Farrell and Tilda Swinton, too. And Mickey 17, despite more mixed reviews, is for sure worth checking out. And let's not forget Wicked 2!

From those that are out already, The Companion was really fun. Really clever script, and it's great to see Dylan from White Lotus S1 in a juicy role. Check it out.
