SoftwareUpgrade Posted April 22 Posted April 22 This game series is still my guilty pleasure that I try to replay around once a year, don't know if I want to get the newer, Max sequel though #justiceforkate 1 Quote I'm Poppy

But yeah I downloaded Life Is Strange 1 and Life Is Strange: Before The Storm (original, not the remastered) and I LOVE both games. I loved the "first generation" characters and I'm looking forward to trying Life Is Strange 2, Life Is Strange: True Colors (i think) and Life Is Strange: Double Exposure!! Which one do you recommend? 1 Quote
The Missing Shade of Blue Posted April 22 Posted April 22 @ithinkaboutitallthetime I personally love LIS2 but it was a jarring shift for most people. If you really love LIS1 and BTS you might not like LIS2 as much, but hopefully you'll still find it enjoyable. Plot-wise a bit messy but the characters are great and really stay with you. I struggle to replay it because of how harrowing the story is. Your choices really DO matter in this game. Great payoff in the end. True Colors is enjoyable for the most part, little bit too short, but really cozy. I really like Alex as a protagonist. Double Exposure is... yeah I won't reveal too much but honestly it feels like bad fanfiction. Really wish I could get my money back lmao. 1 Quote

I heard that double exposure is a big flop, but I'm still excited to try. Once again thanks for your opinion!! 0 Quote

CoochieSwirlC Posted April 23 Posted April 23 The only good LiS games are the first and maybe second. The rest are poorly written messes. 1 Quote
Platinum Greenwich Posted April 23 Posted April 23 I really love the original game, and Before the Storm - to the point that I pre-ordered both LIS2 and True Colors, but have yet to play either. Once I get around to them, I'm sure I'll play Double Exposure too. At this point I'm kind of more interested in Dontnod's newer IPs though... 1 Quote
