Ooof this was a rough time in my life. I remember driving around a lot pre-pandemic, really feeling this song personally.

 

I was an alcoholic drug-addict jumping from job to job. My "boyfriend" at the time was an abusive alcoholic bartender, but I loved him with all of my heart. 

 

I specifically remember relating to this song for the both of us while driving around in my Chevy during late summer in the northeast USA.

 

I almost look back on it euphorically, but the reality of the situation just makes me sad.

listening to it for the first time all the way back to 2014… it was late night but it was still hot as shit and little did i know that my little teenage brain chemistry would be changed forever. sometimes i wish i could erase some memories just to experience them for the first time all over again. i always say that listening to certain albums are like losing your virginity, it's something you'll always remember but can never get it back and ultraviolence is certainly one of those moments
