Such a awful tragedy. RIP to the lives lost. I hope the people who were injured heal quickly. Sending prayers all the people and families impacted, I hope they all get some justice and peace. Learning this was an attack from a father and son is so disturbing. Mass shootings are horrible and such a tragic way to die and witness.

Deserves. I loved it when his mum was like “he’s a good boy who likes helping people” 

There were many other heroic acts, too. Boris and Sofia Gurman gave their lives trying to disarm one of the gunmen when he got out of his car; Boris wrestled the gun away but sadly the gunman had another weapon and they were both murdered. Heartbreaking. 
Lots of other people shielding kids with their own bodies, or ushering people into their homes for safety

A lifeguard who ran out into the open onto the beach because someone who was still in the water needed help

It’s a terrible tragedy but so many stories of people helping each other
