Really interesting demo lyrics in the context of some of the other lyrics on Paradise!

idk why but the chorus makes more sense with "I just drive" than "I just ride"

I like "just drive" better personally and how it sounds in the song, but I think "just ride" ended up fitting the song/narrative she was getting at more because being along for the ride is more passive/carefree which I think fits the video a lot where she is just a little aimless and taking life as it comes.

I swear on my life that when I made a new thread for this it didn't exist and now I look like an idiot  I filtered the unreleased lyrics by title, and I looked in the R's and D's. No demo! I know for a fact because there was driving in cars with boys and no Drive.

 

 

Anyway, I love this demo so much! I always think about the countless other Ride demos and what they sound like.
